    Re: fisher paykel oven

I have done hundreds of F&P ovens over the years and can’t recall ever changing an oven stat that was dodgy, good part is spares are readily available and not to expensive. If you do not have an account with F&P you can buy spares from ASD

Will need full model and PN number to get the correct parts.

PS: be careful taking oven out, they are bloody heavy 😆

Sorry dave, Missed your last post.

Not many temp sensors fitted on these they are usualy pretty reliable and accurate, if oven not getting to temp I would go for the ccu.

One thing worth noting, how long was the oven on for when the temp was taken, it will take at least 30 minutes to get up to 200. It could also be the hinges, sometimes they get weak and there is a noticeable play at the top of the door causing heat loss.

Tell him that there is a few spare model number stickers under the door, if he opens door fully and looks underneath they are on the front of the access panel to the base.

You have bought a blank control board. These boards are for Whirlpool engineers who have a computer that can program it to work with different models.

There are 4 different models of your machine and they are two different control boards that will fit. To confirm what board is required post up the 12nc number from the r/h side of the inner door and I can get you the correct part number. 12nc number will start with 8545348*****

    Re: w/pool adg642

That part number is for a blank timer, looks like the wrong 12nc on your 1st post, get the correct one and I will let you know the number for a programmed PCB.

    Re: whirlpool d/w

Haven’t done one for a few years but if this is the type of seal that fits into a fold in the bottom of the inner door you will be lucky to fit it. I always fit new inner doors in this case which used to come with the seal attached.
