ParticipantRe: Whirlpool DW ADP4501/5WH No start
It could be a fill problem caused by either the water valve or drain pump being o/c. Or it could be a faulty door switch.
If not it will probably be the PCB

Hi Cris,
What part number did he fit?
There are a lot of blank PCB’s for these appliances that need programming via a SAM module so it is possible he has one of these by mistake.

ParticipantRe: Whirlpool ARC5070 Seal
These seals can be replaced but you will need to post the 12nc number from your fridge to identify the correct part number, there are 2 different types.
The 12nc number can be found on the inner fridge wall next to the salad bins and starts with 8501507*****

Probably is the power PCB but the original part number I have is 481221458307 which is superseded by 481231019121

If there are two boards listed then the one that says “sam” is a blank board. Order the other and it should come programmed.

Found it, looks like an Ikea special.
If the centre button wont push in it will stop you from setting the clock and the display will always show stop, part number for button switch is 481241029352
If it needs the fan oven element the part number is 481225998405.HTH

Well it is official the Chancellor announced a cut to 15{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} starting from December 1 lasting for 13 months before returning to the present level of 17.5{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} on 1/1/2010

too much real ale Chris??
I cannot answer for the rest but I for the past 4 years have been office based and find that I cannot answer a lot of the posts with confidence. I have not looked at any other brand other than Whirlpool or F&P ( not AUS washers )for the last 12 years and would not be much good on the Smeg you mentioned below.
I have in the past volunteered my services to help with editing articles and chaffing out spam posters but do not have admin rights to do this.
If this in effect makes me deadwood then I believe Ken has the power to chop me if he wants…

I would prefer it to stay at the 17.5{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} rate for two reasons
Firstly we will have the hassle of two different VAT rates in one quarter ( I can hear my accountant chuckling ) and second but most the most important reason is suppliers will stealthily raise their prices,..Call me a cynic

ParticipantRe: whirlpool cooker
If you have the main oven knob switched to off and the centre button is working correctly then it will probably be the main pcb.

ParticipantRe: whirlpool cooker
Is the centre push button working, these are known to jam solid
