I haven’t heard that one for years, brings back memories of thousands of microfeche 😆
It is only the very old models on SIOS that dont have tech info and diagnostics. Just about all of the models on SIOS now have wiring diagrams, resistance readings, fault codes and diagnostic programs. The main problem I find with SIOS is that it does not include service bulletins / K sheets
IIRC it costs around £35 per year.

If you don’t like using the 0870 numbers type in “Connect distribution services” in the search box on this site and it will give you the 0121 numbers instead.

Re: Whirlpool AWR 213 pret a porter

I have one at home gathering dust, comes in the same category as toastie maker and ice cream machine, I used it about 12 times and it does work contrary to popular belief but I cannot be bothered to set it up.

Whirlpool service partners do not repair these appliances and if faulty get picked up and returned to the customer. By whom I dont know.

    You have mail.

BTW the model no is AWR213

The icemaker tube comes in from the top on this model so I take it the part you want is the tube that goes from the coupling below the freezer door then goes up inside the freezer door to the water dispenser nozzle?

If so part number is 481252648179

    Re: fisher +paykel

If you turned the drawer the wrong way you probably wont see any difference in the hoses. Easy way to find out is to take the drawer out and turn it 360 deg anticlockwise, put it back in and see if it works. If it doesnt put it back the way it was and then turn it 360 clockwise and try again.

    Re: fisher +paykel

Usualy one of two problems cause this.

The most likely problem is that when fitting the element you turned the basket upside down by turning it anticlockwise. After fitting the element you turned the basket back over still going anticlockwise which kinks the hoses ( making the link support to snap ) and causes this problem. When you turn these drawers upside down you always return them in the opposite direction.

The other problem could be that the white plastic drawer catches at the back of the runner in the closed position.

Found it on the Whirpool Uk site but cannot find any tech info. How old is this appliance?
The lid switch you have fits most US washers but there has been a new style switch that has appeared recently. I will email a picture of the switch so that you can decide if it is the correct one.

Can you confirm the washer model number, the one you’ve supplied does not show in Whirpool tech info.

It is a machine made for IKEA so all rules dont apply 😆
All I can think of is that some bright spark has changed the mains cable to make it longer, I have never seen one that has different colours from the norm.

Re: whirlpool ADG957 wash pump motor, 2 listed. Which one??

481225928654 is not a recognised part number and the “259” part of the number tells you it is a heater, I just noticed on SIOS that it has this number as well so SIOS is wrong.

Two versions of this machine with two different wash pumps

For 854295715010 the wash pump is 481236158124
For 854295715410 the wash pump is 481236158126
