Not quite the same Sean, When we did the charter it was a forum that was started with a sheet that was practicaly blank, a lot of the WTA matters were brought up in the subscribers forum and are now not available for them to comment on.

I can see both points here and am thinking of the negative comments before re the DASA officers forum, where no one but them knew what the SP was. I just thought it would help if a council member gave an update to let the footsoldiers know what was going on in the WTA forum ( and in the general trade forum ), no need to give it all out though.

Just noticed the header on the front page for the WTA constitution thread and wonder if the WTA is going to appear to be like the DASA Officers forum in that no member knows what is going on…
I am all for there being a seperate forum for the council to sort out strategy etc but surely posts regarding the constitution and ID cards should be in the general WTA forum for all to comment upon.

Whirlpool did make them for the AKP range of ovens but they were not a universal accessory. You removed the L+R/H profiles and fitted the updated ones that were made solely for the AKP range.

Did I pick it up wrong at the meeting, I thought that the AC’s remit was only changed by the fact that we would be overseeing WTA members who are members of repairs@ I cannot think of any reason why we would be overseeing the WTA as a whole?

As far as WTA council members getting access to the AC forum I cannot see any reason why they would need this. I like Alex am not a member of the WTA council and don’t have access to their forum and rightly so.

Ignis is the budget brand for Whirpool, all the info for these models is on SIOS and use normal Whirlpool part numbers. All the usual suppliers will stock parts for these.

OK Lawrence I give up, the torture is too much. I canโ€™t cope with the dodgy fades, the struggling to navigate the rough waters (to get to the nearest pub) and the background music. I will give you some cash on Friday.

    Re: Another joke.

John O’Reilly hoisted his beer and said, “Here’s to spending the rest of me
life!, between the legs of me wife!”

That won him the top prize at the pub for the best toast of the night!

He went home and told his wife, Mary, “I won the prize for the Best toast of
    the night”
She said, “Aye, did ye now. And what was your toast?”
John said,”Here’s to spending the rest of me life, sitting in church beside me wife.”
“Oh, that is very nice indeed, John!” Mary said.

The next day, Mary ran into one of John’s drinking buddies on the street
    corner.

The man chuckled leeringly and said, “John won the prize the other night at the pub with a toast about you, Mary.”
She said, “Aye, he told me, and I was a bit surprised myself. You know, he’s only been there twice in the last four years. Once he fell asleep, and the other time I had to pull him by the ears to make him come.”

Bugger it, why dont we all change ours to a the shop avatar and piss him off ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

The guy uploads an avatar to a website then says he is going to sue, what a plonker. There has and still is a few members using the same avatar and he should be told to go forth or the avatar should be deleted so no one can use it. Martin kindly did my ST Andrews cross and it seems a few Scottsih members are using it as well, maybe Martin should charge a rental fee, I will quite happily buy him a drink at Sibson for his troubles ๐Ÿ˜†

    Re: Firenzi (Whirlpool) double oven

On these ovens with the simmerstat / thermostat control if you put the oven stat on full and the grill switch to full it should supply continous power to the grill element so you can check if it is working correctly quite easily.

I have saw some customers following the instructions but closing the door which will kill the power once the oven stat kicks off.

    Re: Firenzi (Whirlpool) double oven

    Hi Lawrence,

On some of these double ovens you need to turn the oven stat up full for the grill to stay red hot. post the 12nc and I will let you know for sure.

    Re: Induction hob..above a built under oven…

I know that Whirlpool induction hobs can be fitted above Whirlpool ovens as long as there is a 20mm gap between the bottom of the hob and top of the oven.
