    Re: Experience Vs Training.

My training was one week with a senior engineer, 3 weeks training in the training school on washing machines/ t/dryers and dishwashers which there wasnt very many in those days, then back out with the senior engineer for 2 weeks then let loose on my own with reduced amount of calls then a gradual increase in workload, the 6 months later it was another weeks training on other products, that was the best training anybody could get but that was back in the good old days, i’m a timed served electrical fitter so it wasnt a change in direction for me anyway.

Re: Indesit DIF04UK – Module Programming

It has to be programed on the machine there is a removable cap like the one on the washing machines this gives access to 6 soldered blobs which the hardware key or smartcard reader connects to, and allow programing.JJ

    Re: creda 37742 (T/D)

I think it might be the one fitted to the Hotpoint made dryer that was made before creda came on board, old part n/o 1700060 was fitted to the 9316 range they were only made for a year or 2, as stated the correct part n/o for a 37742 is C00205228 cheers JJ

I have the same problem been waiting over a month already but connect shows it as TMK40598 that i’m waiting on searched everywhere on that part n/o but nobody recognises it.The problem i had i ordered the wrong ones first as i couldnt work out the correct age of the oven what pissed me off they were old ones somebody had sent back, i think they are the ones you need but i sent them back as faulty.

They were changed to a higher rating due nuisance tripping shuts everything down when they open, i think it was about 10’c higher the later ones.

Nightmare of a washer dryer the whole range of them should be skipped, the arcadia versions are the worst you need to be mysteg meg to diagnose faults on the dryer side with them, good luck???????????????????????????????
