    Getting a few now with the sump getting choked with gunge at the spigot for the pressure pipe causing this, a blast down it with a steam cleaner clears it, the newer style dishwashers are also showing this now not heating and a possible cause is the sump getting gunged up.

    Yes Connect are rip of merchants, mind you i could quote the cheapest price in the land if i dont stock it or intend to i was looking for a smeg timer i was shocked only company to stock one was masterpart so i was trying to switch the rest of my order that i was building up from qualtex for various oven elements and a pressure chamber for a bosch dishwasher masterpart had the chamber but not the bog standard elements they wonder why they dont get the business??????

    You did check the brushes they can cause faults like that on arcadia machines.

    Heard a couple of the indesit guys use a wood chisel to knock the shaft off only problem is some of the newer drums the shaft kit doesnt line up with the holes on the drum.

    Dont think it is a frost free so might be a door seal problem or just the customers expectations defrosting once in a blue moon

    £49.50 around here you wouldnt even get 1 or 2 calls a day full of freeloaders wanting something for nothing. I could only dream of being able to charge £50.

    Just heard today a Hotpoint Franchise with a new Transit Compact went the same after 8 weeks burnt to a crisp seems it was a wiring fault at the back on his, think Ford should be doing more and recalling the lot of them before anybody gets killed, i was thinking they looked a nice van and a couple of years i might get one but i’m sticking to my V/W’S after hearing this.
