Yes in top oven mode the grill elements are wired in series hence if one half is open circuit you will only get heat from the base element sounds like a duff high speed grill element i’m afraid, there are 2 elements for these need the date code to confirm one is priced £89 and the other £33.74

Check the heater insulation if it is low it can cause this condition also check for slice marks on the heater due to bearing failure which will give the same fault , also if the hot and cold hoses are reversed you will get this also.

Nope if you have done hundreds kike i have you soon get the the time down, do everything from the front cordless drill etc, in a house you have to be a bit more careful add another 10 mins, another job everbody loves is the float chamber in condensor drier i got them downabout 30 mins, but due to restrictions in working space i tried another method out of pure frustration, 10 mins to do it on a tdc60 i could have kicked myself for not thinking of this before, told some other FSE’S they couldnt believe how nobody had thought of it before.

P*** easy to replace heater six screws in base gives you access remember to tip appliance on the left hand side looking from the front as you will flood the pressure system 2 big jubilee clips to replace the cr@ppy factory fitted ones and your home and dry.

Re: Proline model TDC7A condenser dryer

If you remove condensor there is a small rectangle hole at the back which drains the water from the condensor to the pump chamber, the most common fault is the condensor choked up as the cust does,nt re,alise they heve to clean usualy causes them to trip the mains if they have an earth leakage trip.

    Re: Hotpoint FF92BL – Thermistors

The main problem aint the thermistors but moisture gathering at the plugs as can be seen when you remove said thermistors the yellow plug has a green stain from the green one, when replacing dry out the terminals with a hair dryer, when fitting new thermistors smear some silicon sealant around the plugs normaly cures the problem.
