To be a Techncian you dont have to do gas, though i do everything else Washers, dryers, d/washers, cooking, microwaves, system repairs, showers, storage heating etc etc, the gas board aint looking for gas men it is White goods and electricians, i fancy a crack at going back to my trade as a spark but after being away for so long it is a thought.

The most common fault for leaking is a blocked fab cond compartment very rarely is it the door seal, i change very little seals usualy cause for change are manky seals not for leaking, i would say approx 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} leaking problems are the dispenser area.

It aint to healthy where i am at the moment our pay rise last year ended up being used to try and patch up the hole in our pension fund, be years before it is cleared if at all, what i’ve heard about the Gas board management it’s chalk and cheese to our lot, i have’nt seen my new supervisor in six months getting him, our manager above him i have met him once in 3 years to introduce himself being promoted. by the the way i’m a Technician next step down from supervisor say’s it all doesn’t it e’mail everything only nobody reads them.

If my memory serves me correctly there are 2 eco stas in these machines one for half load and one for full load if these are faulty this could give these symtoms as can the timer i’m afraids.there was also a wiring mod to these stats to enhace the sensor drying performance.

You can do it with out removing drum you only need to remove 8 screws maybe 10 if you remove the top to get it out 15 mins tops.

Never had a problem with somebody having a go themselves if they own up when it goes pearshaped, not the 1st time i’ve asked had anybody to look at it , nope nobodoy’s been near it and screws bolts etc etc are all fitted wrong, saves a load of time if they will own up and tell you what they did.

Re: Creda Storage Heater CNT 12 CW

This is A Creda net system i would check the settings on the programer as you can select differant zones with various combinations of heaters on each zone, if this heater is allocated a zone with other heaters and they are working it may be faulty, but if it is situated in a warm part of the house the system might not charge up the heater, the programer desides how much charge to give each heater to attain the temp set for each zone incidently if the comfort setting is set to low it might never come on.
