I’d hang in there its unusual to have a leak, but the insurance you have taken out is new for old so if it couldnt be repaired you would get anew one.

I think you may have had usb kit fiited and the door seal req’d is 1602754 it would only be 1600125 door seal if the drum had been replaced with the front plate and seal., they were van stock at the time to cure a tearing problem hope this helps.

Yes if you plug in and press test if there was a fault it will show last fault detected helps a little you can also connect up to emit usb port and run wash doctor bring up diagnostics and you can see all the programes fault codes out of bal loads etc that have occured or selected with the machine, but it aint fullproof by any stretch off the imagination.

I’ve 2 , got another when the pins got busted they gave me another then came out with part n/o for new pins kept the other in case i fly the nest, which i can see coming shortly if they dont buck up their ideas and treat us and customers etc with a bit more respect, incidently i dont know how they can justify £130 for a pcb a couple of flashing lights and suspect brass pins that you look at the wrong way and they bend and give you dodgy contacts.

Is the machine fitted with an FHP motor if so check the wiring running by the motor plug if they chaff, especialy the orange dryer heater wiring this takes out the one shot, thats caught out many engineers.

Not any more only the heater assembly and stats, dont know why they dont supply stats alone, mind you another engineer told me to-day stats can be ordered now seperatley but my emit aint been updated yet.So i suppose that may be a red herring.

Not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure but i’m sure its the timer/valve on the end off the motor which diverts water to to the top spray arm only or to them both ie if a half load is selected on some models only the top is supplied others spray intermitantly between the 2 spray arms.

Many years ago had a call to 95 series Hotpoint washer brand new vibrating, checked both top and bottom balance weight were removed cust had thrown them both away, he replied had a bit off a job getting the bottom one out the hole in the bottom had to use a hammer to get it out in bits, absolute nutter he was.

Sorry my mistake is it the 3rd light flashing on its own if so its a short or open circuit thermistor it may be a broken wire or similar, other than that you’l need the module part n/o C00097890.

If the drain pump is clear etc sounds like pressure sw, pressure chamber, pressure hose possibly blocked, on these machines if press sw does not reset in 4 mins during drain this fault occurs, if thats okay i’d guess its the module, hope this helps.

    Re: WMA31 module failure.

Usualy when the board blows its either the wires getting chaffed on the balance weight or it is the brushes wearing out on the Bosch motor fitted to some of the Wma’s identified by the white brush holder covers , had one today com shot on motor, ended up replacing module and motor.
