Easy job, backplate and inner drum change about an hour including taking machine out and putting it back again, definately use molegrips and tighten pulley wheel onto inner drum shaft before doing up clamp as well 🙂

Wondered when Repaircare would hit this thread, I’ve just stopped accepting their charge calls as it was getting ridiculous, very obscure brands needing expensive parts which are normally out of stock for weeks, as per all Repaircare work no mark up on spares for the Agents and low labour rates so not worth the hassle.
I think they are having a revue of the situation, must be costing them a fortune plus some bad publicity on a few web forums as well. 😕

They take the risk the same as me, if its a recall they dont get paid, different fault then if I get paid so will they, simples 😆

I’ve got 2 self employed Engineers working for me and the minimum they get for a completed call is £30, if its a range cooker they get £50, I couldnt get them to get out of bed in the morning for £19-75 😯

I have always used the ABS type tool cases, the latest one I’ve had about a year made by Parat and it’s been great, still looks great and has taken some serious use

Nearly every fault code you get come up on these will mean the touch control board faulty 🙁

Ferrari’s F1 team manager decided to employ 4 Scouse teenagers in their new pit crew, this is beacause he had heard of their renowned skill at removing wheels quickly.
At the first practice session not only did they change all 4 wheels in 6 seconds flat they also managed to re-spray it, re-badge it and then flog it to McLaren for 8 cases of Stella, a bag of ‘weed’ and a piccie of Lewis sorting his misses rear end out !! 😆

There are 3 of them under the hob top, one at the front centre and one above each oven cavity, bets to change all 3, its the same as MFI model ADP5340, available from Masterpart part number 2.12SPA011130, dont order the De Dietrich part number as very expensive 🙂
