ParticipantWell, I’ve checked the wiring harness as best as possible, and have decided the fault lies in the board.
Customer now mulling over whether or not to invest in over £110 in the above.

ParticipantBlast!
Customer just called to say fault has recurred…
It was fine for ten days, but now original fault back.
I recall door switch Ohms resistance good, and having nipped up and re-fitted multi plug connection, all good.
Will check wiring harness from the above to board, although suspect faulty board now due to intermittent nature of fault.

ParticipantThanks for your feedback cj,
Customer decided to buy a new dishwasher when I stated the heat pump, and possibly other issues were arising.

ParticipantWell, I had another look at the door microswitch, and wiring multiplug… re-fitted, and lo and behold all fine!
I imagine the above would also account for problems progressing diagnostic mode.
Thanks again,

Participant“barley” should read barely!

ParticipantAgreed, May be a conductivity fault, Dave.
However, problem manifests itself by red and amber… do you mean green?
Evidently, this dryer has barley been used in just over 2 years, as it’s a back up, so fault should be “simple to diagnose.”#

ParticipantHave had a look at the dryer now, and struggling to find the cause of the above.
Tried to enter diagnostic mode without any success, as I think it’s more for the dryers with a display.
Also tested door microswitch, as I thought it may be that, as it doesn’t start or tumble etc.
It would be good to know if/what the 3 beeps denote, together with the start/pause button flashing amber as I can’t find such information…

ParticipantThanks again Dave for the info’
Will hopefully locate the problem on Tuesday.

ParticipantHopefully sorted now by “modifying” element shape, and re-aligning!
Won’t know for sure until return to customer’s, as backplate, element etc is at my workshop…

ParticipantThanks all,
Do you know where I can obtain the above kit?

Participantp.s by the inner section of the element, I particularly mean the “neck area” where the item is bent away from the bracket to form its circular shape. I didn’t mention, but I can see where the drum has been chafing that particular area of the element.
November 14, 2020 at 3:52 pm in reply to: Bosch WAW28560GB/01 Washing Machine Door Interlock/Other fault #472806jontymox
ParticipantStruggling with this one as well!
Wiring connections, and continuity fine between power module & door interlock.
The suspect power module is out of stock with Bosch UK, and they cannot provide a time scale for obtaining from Germany/Europe!
So, at the moment customer says she is happy persevering with washing machine, as she can get it to work after several attempts…
November 14, 2020 at 9:21 am in reply to: Samsung WW90K661OQX/EU 01 Washing Machine Spin Fault #472803jontymox
ParticipantWill probably have to accept defeat on this one…
Will recommend Samsung attention, or a new machine, as I’m getting nowhere with the App, or Diagnostic Mode, which may, or may not, shed further light on this fault.
As always, thanks for your input on this obscure fault.
jontyNovember 13, 2020 at 12:10 pm in reply to: Samsung WW90K661OQX/EU 01 Washing Machine Spin Fault #472802jontymox
ParticipantHave just replaced the pressure switch, and problem remains.
On a spin cycle, 16 min’s for example, the motor will slowly rotate back and forth, but the display sticks on 10 minutes remaining and no fast spin…
Have inspected the wiring harness as best as possible, and tried the diagnostic mode, (without joy) as haven’t been able to locate diagnostic mode for this model online, so probably not pressing correct button sequence!
Will have to investigate App procedure, which I’m completely unfamiliar with….
