    Good evening Kai, everyone,

Returned today, and carried out further tests and confirmed that the pcb/board is faulty.

Customer then confirmed that he bought the replacement board second hand, and he is planning on sending it somewhere for test and repair!

Re: Bosch WVF2402GB/02 Condenser Tank to Outer Tub Hose

    Ha, ha,

I managed to nick the new hose’s inner lip on the tub radius when fitting the new, modified plastic collar, and don’t wish a repeat; hence this query.

Have found that the above collar is a difficult and tight fit, (even with fairy liquid) so will de-burr the tub and try again with a little more fairy liquid, although I realise other lubricants are also available.

    Kind regards

    Jon

If that is the best an “Appliance Master” can come up with, perhaps he shouldn’t comment?

    Good morning Steve,

Re-visited yesterday, and did the checks you mentioned.

The pulley action etc is fine, and the customer doesn’t wish to spend a large amount on a new motor.

    Thanks again for your help.

    Good evening Martin,

I’ve replaced the flow senor/impeller jug, but the symptoms remain.

Have re-checked the connections, which are fine so still struggling….

    Re: Siemens SF24T553GB/18 Dishwasher Prob’/s

Well, I’ve renewed the flow sensor and after a strange filling operation, (filling together with draining, until settled) the wash pump activated, and a wash cycle was completed.

However, the machine still isn’t happy and during the above quick wash, the above fill problems were repeated.

It appears to remain a fill problem, and the water tap light illuminates at random, although usually remains off.

    Any help much appreciated.

    p.s.

The problem is accompanied by the tap light being illuminated.

I’ve checked and cleaned the drain pump/impeller, and the water hoses aren’t kinked.

Re: Hotpoint SY10X Oven Timer Dead

Well, I replaced the suspect new timer, and all was well. (Clock & all oven functions fine.)

However, upon fitting timer permanently it was found to be “dead” again!

Have re-ordered, and hoping for third time lucky……

Re: Hotpoint SY10X Oven Timer Dead

Need to bring unit back to workshop, and wonder if there is a safe way of powering up the timer with the correct voltage?

I cannot fathom why the timer is dead…
