ParticipantRe: banging moving Creda
possibly but these were famous for this, could be too bigger load or taking too long to drain, clear exit machine should drain 20-30 seconds

ParticipantRe: Integrated condenser dryers
built in tumble dryers are very rare nowadays as most dryers are put in a utility room or the garage nowadays!
the price is a bit steep…try http://www.hughesdirect.co.uk/productli … UILT.DRYERkelland
ParticipantRe: Very old Hotpoint 9534 damaging clothes, why?
the outer tub front panel used to bow out and cause too bigger space between the inner drum and door seal, the newer version had a stainless trim to support it, the older inner drums where the paddles were moulded had spot welds that used to fail and a gap would start to appear at the bottom of each paddle at the front, the spot welds are only visible if the front of the drum is removed.
But to be honest…the age of the machine dont waste too much time and money!kelland
ParticipantRe: zanussi washerdryer
the condenser unit under the fan that runs to the bottom of the machine is blocked and causing the circulation of air to stop!
lid and rear half will have to be removed…..disconnect from mains if you decide to attempt it!February 4, 2008 at 7:43 pm in reply to: Bosch SGS4002GB/13 Inlet Hose – gunge – where from? #242114kelland

ParticipantRe: How to remove Bosch/Seimens cable supply?
as far as i can remember there is a visible lug on one side which you push toward the mains terminal and it flips out, if you remove the lid by pushing up the 2 rear lid lugs then the side panel you will see it from the inside to make life easier!
To be honest though i doubt that it will be faulty, the wires were probably blackened by the contacts getting hot on the on/off switch!
please remember to disconnect from mains before starting!kelland
ParticipantRe: Bosch WVT1260 – F04 Error
try checking the pressure chamber, this is a plastic tube that comes off the sump hose, these get blocked and make the machine think it has water in it when it doesnt!
remember to dis-connect from the mains!kelland
ParticipantRe: Indesit ISL70C condenser dryer problems
probably thermostat problem, happens to a lot of indesit/hotpoint/creda dryers….how old is it?

unscrew the nut to the end of the thread and then tap it so the pressure is released off the seal….as the other guy said once they have been removed they can be a so & so to put back, the longer the element is left out the easier it will go back as the seal will dry out and contract a bit. when re-fitting dont over tighten too!…maybe measure how much thread is showing before removal and then return to the same length on re-fit. also make sure the element locates inside the support bracket in the drum!
MAKE SURE ITS DISCONNECTED FROM THE MAINS TOO!kelland
ParticipantRe: Bosch classixx 1200 express
these drain pumps do go weak, ive had loads that will quietly hum with a tub full of water but as soon as you drain it off it will run due to being no pressure on the impeller, it does sound like a drain problem, try draining it using the drain programme into a bucket if it does connect to a sink cone, if it doesnt drain then try stripping down hoses to pump and air-brake chamber (this is at the top of the machine splits the drain hose in 2), if these are clear replace the drain pump.
always disconnect from mains before starting, this means pull the plug out dont just switch off at the wall!February 2, 2008 at 11:15 pm in reply to: Zanussi ZWD1270W is leaking – any idea what problem is??? #241999kelland

If its half way thru then i would tend to ask does the machine drain thru a stand-pipe and is your plumbing blocked?

ParticipantRe: Bosch KGU32161GB/02 freezer temp problem
i maybe wrong but doesn’t the diverter valve run as: one direction freezer and fridge being cooled and the other direction freezer on its own?
so if it was stuck on fridge and freezer the fridge would be freezing the salad trays? or if it was stuck on freezer only the fridge would not be working at all??
or is this a model where the fan just draws the cold air up from the freezer and no valve is used??…this would comply more with the scenariokelland
ParticipantRe: AEG BB4101-4 Oven faulty thermostat thermocouple?
ok no heat from it but is the oven fan running?
normally if it is the thermostat the indicator will still light up, it could be the oven is stuck on timer, or is there a switch pack in front of the timer that is not switching over (little unit with some cams) or the power will have to be tracked maybe an in-line fuse?
Please insure mains is off at all times! -
