When you say the condenser is clean…has it been washed out all 4 ways?

Do you mean the bent end of the inlet hose?.
Of those I had to play with, I have always found the inlet hoses to be quite poor on the threading of the inlet hose, especially if it’s a metal endpiece thats threaded.

I would have said the white deposits sound more like a lack of softening of the water. Did you actually do a hardness test of the water at the machine before outing it? I have never really found house softeners to be as good as the dishwasher inbuilt softener.
As for multi detergents, I sometimes use them but always keep the salt topped and rinse-aid up……………….all in my Siemens, and get perfect washes on any program including the 55/65 auto wash.

I seem to remember the last one I had to get was around the £100 mark. However, a call to Miele and their spares department will get you an exact cost including vat and carriage.
ps..the spare is a complete hose assembly.

Always fit the decor door here when installing integrated appliances (unless the decor door is so holey or rotten). In fact I make any adjustments as required to install the appliance in question and normally without reference to customer or permission sought.

I have only found those elements held in by friction, and as such tend to be fairly tight to move.

Could you not put something as a physical blocker, perhaps mounted off the earth tag?

Prog “C” on the WD1012 is HOT WATER ONLY FILL, therefore you will need a working hot inlet valve to allow water (whether the feed is hot or cold it doesn’t matter…as long as there is water).
Fast coloureds (60) will be a mixture, the rest of the cottons prog are cold(valve) only.

Re: Bosch Exxcel dryer venting query

Condenser is behind the front lower panel, lower left side. It is something you should remove and wash through (all 4 ways) at least once a month with normal use. Pay special attention to the fine comb passage, (side to side ways from the front). Best way I find is to fill a bowl of water, and put the condenser side on in the water and lift up and push down, fairly rapidly and from both sides. You should see lots of little fluff lumps and dust in the water. Repeat with fresh water when the current stuff has some fluff in it, and keep repeating with fresh water until the water stays clean.

The fact you say it steams up suggests a blocked condenser.

I suppose the condenser has been checked on the old dryer……

After some discussion, it could be “-5-” in the display rather than an “S”.

Before anything else, check the drain filter at the front bottom right corner is clear and not blocked.
