    Re: Problem GW701

Check the stator resistance, it should be around 12 ohms across any 2 terminals. If this is okay I would try a new motor controller p/n 425260p, however I would get a rebuild, rather than an F+P, its cheaper.

Re: F&B smartdrive trying to fill then error

It sounds like the OOB (out of balance) switch is faulty. Remove the top console and the motor controller, the switch and bracket is on the rh side. There should be signs of corrosion around the terminals. P/n for new 420313. Also check the bowl is springing back on all four corners when you press it down. Hope this helps. 😉

Did you check the bowl sensor (hall sensor on stator) for corrosion ❓

    What is the problem?

    Re: Problem GW701

You need to check the bowl sensor on the motor for corrosion and make sure the plug is on firmly. Failing this , it could be the motor controller. 🙁

To remove the bowl, unscrew the cover of the clutch/spline in the bottom of the bowl, and , if your legs will allow, one foot on the floor and one foot on the shaft, and pull up on the bowl, with the top tilted back of course. See if this helps. Check the bowl shaft and clutch/spline for dammage. 😉

Which one relates to hold+slow lights? 😕

    Re: Problem GW701

Turn machine OFF on the front panel. Hold down the Water Temp Down button and press the POWER button. Release buttons. You are in Diagnostic mode. Press advance once, press the spin speed up button until the hold and slow are lit. Write down the LEDS which are lit across the top row of progress LEDS. and post back. 🙂

    Re: Smartdrive 703

There seem to be too many 0’s in your codes, please try again, holding down the WT down button then press power and release both. To access the fault status, the slow and hold l.e.d’s must be illuminated, if they are, and there is no fault recorded, then it could be a user fault or too intermittant to be picked up by the W/M. 😕

My advice is phone F+P, let them know the problem, and see what they are prepared to do. 2 1/2 yrs is too short a time. 😡

    Re: Smartdrive 603 pulse filling

It means the W/m is not stopping quickly enough when the brakes are applied. With the power off, check the motor resistance at the plug in the main board. It should read about 12 ohms. If this is ok, then you need to replace the main board.

The motor controller for a 051 should be blue, what color is your 1?
