    Re: Liebherr fridge not cooling

Liebherr electronics are rock solid so, unlikely,

    Sensors, maybe.

    Compressor a possibility.

Sensors, usually about the £30 mark or so.

Compressor, £200 or so to replace and you cannot DIY that.

Re: Electrolux ERN3420 Larder fridge thermostat location

The parts info doesn’t show you where they are in the fridge but, they’re all connected to one block running from the back of the control board by the look of it and they all come as one item.

    Re: Diplomat Dishwasher Programme Selector

It is a bit of a guess but, the small control boards on those to throw up weird stuff like that however, I can’t say for sure that’s the problem.

Not bad price wise though as it’s this one:

Gut instinct would suggest the compressor may be cutting out as it overheats.

Looks like it’s a motor problem, the codes for it are here:

    Re: BEKO120W

    Hi,

That’s not a valid model number but with most the drain hole at the back will be blocked or, there’s something in the fridge generating excess condensation such as lots of fresh fruit/veg or warm items.

    Re: Saturday delivery

Royal Mail lately have been pretty grim.

In our experience dropping from 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} next day on FC to less than 70-80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} chance. Often taking several working days from dispatch.

Royal Mail 24 is the rebranded First Class service.

Don’t even get me started on RM48, the notion of “48” in there is little more than a joke if you ask me, often takes way more than a week, sometimes up to three weeks to deliver.

Re: Whirlpool S20 SxS fridge freezer problems

    Someone’s removed the heater?

If so, that’ll send the machine whack-a-doodle. The electronics will go nuts and, till that’s put right there’s no way to even start trying to diagnose the problem as you could get any old random error thrown up.

Beyond that, who knows what you might find.

    Re: Saturday delivery

With the premium you pay for a weekend delivery then the low margins on spares, I’ll let you guess the chances. 😉

Depending on what and where, that could cost you between an extra £8 to well over £20 a shipment. So I’d reckon it’d have to be an order worth at least a few hundred quid to be even worth looking at.

I’m sure sending loads you’d get it cheaper but no clue how much. Amazon and such can only do it as they own their own logistics cause they’re monumentally huge shipping thousands of packs per day.

    Hi Tony,

Yes they can be replaced, a bit of a pain to get to if memory serves me but not too bad. The ones used are all the same, this one:

    Re: Beko DW602 Dishwasher

You’ll only get about that amount of water in it, that sounds correct.

If it fills then does nothing, do you mean there’s no wash action at all? And, have you tried it on a rinse only?

It is available but well over £100 with a 3-7 day lead on it.

If you need one ask Dave on spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk and he can likely get you more accurate info on that part.

    Re: rapport

I was chatting this morning regarding Rapport and I can tell you about a couple of things that are in the offing, we hope to have both in play by the end of the year.

First up is comms between the engineer search and Rapport installations. What that means in effect is that if a customer places a call through the search, rather that you getting an email it’ll just pop up on your Rapport home screen to book the call.

I know some of you get hardly any calls through that, it’s just down to geography, the level of internet use around you, what you repair and a bunch of other little things but, of the people that do get several calls a week that’s a win.

There may be some things going on there that might mean there’s more through that system but that’s TBC.

    Next is mobile.

Mobile is a total pain in some ways as you need to design what you would in effect do on a proper sized screen to somehow work on a tiny one. Working out how to do that efficiently and in a logical manner that makes it easy to use is not so easy.

At times I think many people think you just sketch it out on a notepad and presto, it’s a fully functioning app and, it ain’t! There’s a ton of work to do.

Then there’s the whole submission stuff to get past, Apple are especially tough.

However we are starting to redesign and hone that based on the feedback we’ve had and lessons learned. We anticipate that being live and available by the end of the year also.

There’s more but I don’t want to bore you or give other people our ideas for free. 😉

If anyone doesn’t know about Rapport you can learn more about it here:

Re: Whirlpool S20 SxS fridge freezer problems

Err, unless it’s a US import, the EU machines are totally and completely different animals, not even a whiff of being the same other than the shape.

If it’s the usual EU thing, that big board is the defrost timer. Borne out by the fault code you have that you can see here…

    http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/faul … ault-codes

By the sound of it, the compressor has had it but I can’t be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} on it, more like 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}+ based on what you’ve said.
