KeymasterCan you get an image of the cooker, at least I might be able to see who made it?

KeymasterThere has to be another as that doesn’t tell you anything though, it could have been removed, you know what some people are like!
But that really doesn’t tell you anything, I think that’s just a stock label or functional test sticker.

KeymasterIt could be anything really, the only way is to get into it and see if you can see where it’s leaking from.

KeymasterIt looks like an Ilve model number, and JLP did have some made by them; if you can get me an image of the rating plate, I can tell you for sure and probably what hinges are used.

KeymasterThe plumbing looks okay but somehow water is getting back in from there as, if it’s dirty water there only is one source of that, the waste.
There is no oil in them.
There is no way to clean the salt chamber; you can only replace it.

KeymasterDave’s right, it sounds like a classic case of backfilling from the waste pipe which normally means it is blocked partially or, too low with the latter being the most common so waste water from the sink goes into the dishwasher.
Any dishwasher I know of will drain, clear the sump then fill but there could be residues left possibly and that could taint things. You’re effectively tasting waste, so that ain’t good.
I’d bet it’s on a spigot to the waste under the sink and not a standpipe.

KeymasterSorry but the seals for that model are long obsolete and there are no alternatives.

KeymasterI can’t find any info on it but, it’d not surprise me if they did that and it’d be a conscious choice to make it work that way.

KeymasterThe side by side ones are designed to be joined.
I’ve not seen that before and I’ve seen plenty sat aside one another so I do not know why Liebherr are saying that unless they are trying to avoid people shoehorning two together with inadequate ventilation to the rear and either side of the units as you do need some airflow around them.

KeymasterSo long as they are reasonably well ventilated there will not be a problem with that.
The problems come when there’s nowhere for the warm air to go at the back but, so long as you’ve got a way for that to expel you shouldn’t have any issues.

KeymasterIt is shown on the attached as item 81343.

KeymasterIt should be around the left hand hinge.

KeymasterThe insulation being wet is a problem, as I said, and if that is the case, the unit is pretty much a write-off. You’d never get it dry and to re-foam a unit is impractical and even where you can you’ve got, at best, a 50/50 chance that a repair would work.

KeymasterIt’s just an anti-draft so it not being there won’t effect how the hood works.
