KeymasterWhen defrosting it shouldn’t be running at all, that’d be counter-productive.
It may run for an extended period after that’s done to get it back down to temp.

KeymasterIt won’t need regassing and even if it did, at that age, it’d likely not be worth doing.
Why I say that is explained here:

KeymasterApparently, like the Beko ones and others, it can be replaced. How though, I have no idea.

KeymasterIt’s this one used in it:

But, IIRC, it is buried in the foam.

KeymasterAs Tony says, it’s indicative of an insulation failure and even if you tried re-foaming them IME you’ve perhaps a 50/50 chance of success.

KeymasterYup, they’re basically on the way out and failing.

KeymasterWith B2B transactions, there are no rules that apply in that regard, a very limited amount of consumer legislation applies, but in essence, with trade transactions, they can pretty much do what they please in the T&Cs. YOu essentially have no protections and certainly not anywhere even close to what you’d have as a consumer.
Even as a consumer buying spare parts there are limitations as spares are not “finished goods” therefore much of the legislation doesn’t and really can’t apply.
But if you buy on a trade account, you may as well regard it as you have no protection at all other than what’s agreed in the T&Cs/contract your account is operated on.

KeymasterThere are no electronics in it so it should be a case of working or not working.
All I can think is that it’s te cooling fan or control thermostat/s that are an issue.

KeymasterNo but you do need to watch out for additional carriage charges that are often varied and random on both the amount and what parts they apply to.

But at least you can still change them, for now at least.

Absolutely, 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} not a hope of that I’m afraid.

KeymasterOven door switch? There is one in it so that’d be the prime suspect if you asked me.

KeymasterCalling them to try to get them to tell you what it means is about the only option I expect.
