    Re: Sealing Cracked Fridge Liners

We have just had a BER refused for cracks in liner ,we were told that other companies seal them so why don’t we.
I got straight on to Vicky who was dynamic and on the ball as usual NOT!
Apparently ,bosch and lux are using food grade sealant,so it is okay to do so,I queried what happens if I get recalled as the integrity of the insulation may be compromised, her response “err”
    will see what happens

Re: Tips on fitting kitchen door to new integrated machines

Genius idea on the 35 mm dowel ,We use ronseal two part wood filler, but it takes 30 mins to cure properly, will definitely try the dowel method.

    Re: Work offer

Yep WTA members in the first instance at request of the interested party, the critical thing is you must be willing to install integrated stuff including re cutting/boring doors where req.
If you want any further info on door cutting just ask, also some kind of video clip has been suggested, not sure if that would be of use ?

    Re: WTA Insurances

We can put a pointer post in the general trade forum ,that should do the trick .

    Re: WTA Insurances

Keep it simple ,Create a mailing list with members emails ( we need one anyway )then produce a PDF brochure (Ask Mike ) with our logo etc on it pointing out benefits and offers ,put a point of contact or email address on it where people can request a no obligation insurance review, then bulk mail it out to everyone and put it in the forums, then its up to people to answer if they are interested.
That way no cold calling, no confusion
we then do the same with CK tools offer and masterpart etc on a regular basis

Thanks for pointing that out Carl

Ok everyone ,I wonder what would be an appropriate way to do this then ?
Is it as Barrie said and do an opt in through the forums that way people are consenting to contact rather than consenting by default ?(if that make sense)or is there another way ?

    Re: WTA Insurances

George and I had a long conversation about this ,He has secured a written assurance from the insurance company that the information they are given will ONLY be used to make an initial contact to ask wether as members of the WTA they are interested in an exclusive WTA insurance review.
If they say yes then it goes from there ,if they decline then no more contact.
With insurance its a numbers game so we need to help them access as many members as possible.

I think an opt out is the way to go,we put Georges post up in the WTA members forum but add a line similar to “week commencing contact will be made by an operative regarding exclusive WTA Insurance benefits” if you do not wish to be contacted please let George know by (Date) and he will ensure that you are not contacted,If anyone then complains we can say “well it was in the forum”

The problem with an opt in is that if very few people look in the forum and opt in we cant get the deals that people will want.
We will also have people complaining that they have missed out cos they didn’t know.
With regard to the WTA operative ,that can be worked on,The insurance company have created a bespoke WTA insurance scheme,so thats where the reference comes from.
