I would like to see a demo on a typical floor found within customers homes, being an eternal skeptic, if demo videos don’t show challenging real life situations, its usually because they don’t work well, bit like driving a 4×4 on a motorway as opposed a muddy field, it would be a lot more attractive if it was designed better and had a lower price.
In that demo on that floor, I’d have had my slip board under and the cooker slid out by the time the guy had attached the hoses.
I’m unsure the unit would retain upward lift and stability if the floor was tiled upto the front legs, using tiles with large joints or uneven quarry type tiles. Also stability, you may just remove the chance of scratching a floor and increased the chance of chipping/damaging a work top.
I still wouldn’t part with that amount of cash for something that causes me so little issues.

Could one re-enact a scene from Back to the Future, that might be fun, having them strapped under your feet, flying free across the kitchen. :rotfl:

Most companies with 2 man crews use sling belts for range cookers and US fridges, no real lifting involving the hands. I doubt these air cushions would get an appliance from the vehicle, down steps, across pathways. 😉
There use it limited.

Hey relax, I stated its a handy piece of kit if you need it, but for me it appears a lot of money and time wasted, another solution to a small issue, with a rather hefty price tag, especially if it only last a couple of yrs.
I’m happy with my slide board and have had no issues with floor damage.

It looks a handy piece of kit, but a bit late, most US fridges came with wheels and move very easily, the old range cookers where built very heavy and sat close to the floor, so this would be perfect, but those cookers rarely broke down also not that many out there to justify paying for this kit. Most ranges now are much higher off the ground with poor quality plastic legs and are not difficult to move.
If you do struggle to move stuff and want to pay that money, go ahead, personally I don’t think many people would buy them, it reminds me of the Kirby Vacs, good cleaners, but over priced, not really providing a noticeable performance vs price difference and sold by dodgy car style dealers.

Is it £15,000 for equipment/stock or is it a number plucked out of the air for the goodwill of the business ?

Another unique money making scheme.
The name is appropriate, Robin Williams or is it Robin Everybody or Robin Bas88rd.

ParticipantRe: Argos
Argos dictate terms very harshly, the brands make very little, but because its high volume some need it for brand awareness as much as profit margins, but some players refuse certain models or even to sell via Argos.
I doubt there going to pay much, maybe JTM didn’t feel it was worth bending over and being 888888 and not even getting a thank you afterwards.

What with rumblings and rumours flying about over JTM and such, it’s the odd world of white goods I suppose. 😉
Not really surprised, business continues until terms agreed, contracts signed and public announcements, until then anything goes, that’s no different in our industry than any other.

Golden rule how low can you go, don’t go there, always stay above or walk away, 3 good calls non D&G are far better than 6 D&G, when you add up all the leg work, they’ll be happy with 5{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} or even better free. If your 25{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}, your nearest is on 15{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}, guess who gets the work.

Judging by Dixons merger with Carphone warehouse and there plans for the future, maybe cheap products are going to be written into history, maybe the current situation is a way to bully people into return to the quality products that can be serviced as opposed to scraped.
There will be more info, more flash adverts when the merge is complete, but it seems Ken will be like a pig in shi8e sat at home using his SmartHub gizmo’s.
