Rest assured, that we will call on you for a solution, if you can spare the time that is?

    No need.

The quantity of incidents is so low as to provide all the proof anybody should need, so long as they actually do think for themselves, but many will follow the ever increase madness that is the blame culture. :rolls:

It came up in a conversation the other day, when was the last time you watched or witnessed a fire or for that matter a fire engine pass you.

I’m on the road for approx 5 hrs a day, cannot remember the last time I have seen a house with fire damage, the only one that sticks in my mind was a family of 5 killed in a house fire thanks to a pi88ed relative falling asleep whilst the chip pan was on. That was 1986.

    Maybe its a conspiracy. 8)

British product testing and regulation limits all those risks to Human Life, health and safety and would have been discussed as there is no point producing something that wouldn’t reach market place, money is a driving factor and wasting it is a major no no.

They may be Chinese, Turkish, Polish etc etc but that does not make them stupid, in fact, they probably believe British people are stupid for allowing the economy to be so bad that we produce people so dumb as to buy them, think about it.

    Weird.

Why waste a TOC, just strip the insulation back and twist the wires together.

    Sorted.

No matter what intro I use to ask what is the problem with the appliance I still get people acting/talking as if their machine is the only one I’ve ever seen.

I wish it was because I look so young, but its not, I swear the next one who instead of telling me why they called us they insist on explaining how the thing works, I’m gonna tawt them with a spanner.

    You should have left.

Had a washer the other day, not draining, I get there, its a sh8t hole, she decided though to open the filter 5 mins before I arrive, no idea why, she seemed surprised that all the water flooded out.

So I’m faced with a knob head holding a crappy mop trying to clear up the lake and all its nice floating debris.

I left, haven’t been back, not going back, she couldn’t afford the amount I’d need to go back.

Re: HOTPOINT tumble dryers (the belt breaking bearing munche

Maybe it would be a good thing going back to the old days, I’m referring to those days that would make a lot here happy, the days when people washed in the metal tub, used wringers.

In those days their dryers never failed, belts never broke, you only had to worry about the rain.

Oh that won’t work, scrape those days, too many issues, arthritis etc etc.

Better go back further, to the caves, when we didn’t wear anything, so no laundry issues, no repairs required, didn’t have customers moaning about stuff.

    The really good old days.

Engineering genius, overcome the odds to succeed where others would have simply made 2 visits.

This is obviously done by a company guy.
