Hey, I’m all for humour/mocking, its a very weak person who cannot mock himself or one who gets offended by it.

Although I keep reading philfish post and for the life of me cannot see any.

Shadowed an engineer who had OCD, several times he had checked some hose connections on a condenser dryer, he decided to turn back to the client after getting 100 meters down the road, to check the hoses again.

I shouldn’t laugh, but, well, its childish, but still very funny, don’t blame me, I come from an upbringing that did not label people, you where either normal or a knob head and the latter got mocked.

    Re: Suspicious tasting coffee…

I tried to get a free breakfast or even a paid one from a cafe that I was called out to.

The brand refused to call/repair the range cooker under warranty as its commercial, client blankly refused to accept it, so I get to inspect premises. Only one cooker, the range that is not used for commercial usage in an obviously commercial kitchen, client swears its used only for the staff.

So I ordered the full monty breakfast on the menu £5.99 special, only she got all funny, started shout the odds, got all girlie and threw me out.

I guess the brand went back and fixed it.

Re: CURRYS REPAIR SERVICE – 7 DAYS A WEEK

Some Knowhow sites, say Bristol, work a 5 over 3 cover, so engineers are available Saturdays and Sundays 7 days a week.

Some centres, say Cardiff are closed Sunday & Monday, so only work 5 days, Tuesday to Saturday.

So the site is not misleading as there is cover dependant on region. There are reasons for this, but I ain’t going down that road, to many mines and dangers.

Or not, maybe they have decided Indesit’s service network would complement the planned increase in sales volumes, you have a known brand name to place on products and a network in place for the nice, newly badged quality products.

Re: ONLINE THREATS SEEM TO BE CATCHY

You can usually spot a d88k head by their comments.

An example that annoyed me was a local Spanish restaurant, a tapas bar me and the OH are friends of the owners. I was reading on Trip advisor a terrible review, only one circle, the guy slated the place. Now the owner has run his own business in Southern Spain, Southern France and the UK, he’s a sommelier and has worked for some of the top restaurants around London.

This muppet complained the dish portions where too small, its a Tapa’s bar, that is what Tapa is, also the food is fried and too greasy. He backs his comments with “I’ve lived in Spain for 5 yrs and this place bears no resemblance to authentic Spanish cuisine”.Tell that to the cook, she was born and raised in Spain, she’s been cooking in Spain for the best part of 45 yrs and her son 25 yrs.

I’m still angry and I’m not the owner. There are a lot of fried dishes in Spain, I got married in Spain and of the 7 courses in the wedding meal there is always a tradition of having a fried course, we had sheeps brains, in batter, I’m sure Mr Critic hasn’t had that in his 5 yrs in Spain.

    I defo need a holiday.

Re: replacing a zanussi door gasket time 🙂

Easy, but 23 yrs of doin them.

New Beko seals similar and just as quick.

Funny someone in a certain company believed the bolt and nut they devised to hold the spring in place was genius, until someone fitted the seal, spring and front clamp in the time it took them to undo the nut & remove the door lock.

You only need a long screw driver through the door lock to keep the spring from sliding off.

Don’t mention the guys who use washing up liquid on the seals, there the real geniuses.

    Re: Hotpoint dishwashers fires

I did a fire report funny enough yesterday, clients complained of a fire, huge fuss made.

I visit, find a Tumble dryer that looked not of its years, not looked after at all, belt snapped, due to overloading, of which the items that had ignited had not burn’t enough to destroy the label, of the items in the drum the ones fire damaged all had labels stating they could not be used within a tumble dryer.

Go figure, clients a d88head, has no concept of how to look after her home, her property and every “Issue” is someone else’s fault. Its not her responsibility to sort the laundry, its not her fault the appliance fails when used outside of its tolerance.

See brands can take some responsibility, but ultimately the education of a modern sub species of neolithic human does not lie within there design remits.

As I look out of the window, I see on the horizon, black smoke billowing forth from the tenements, the sirens deafening out any sound of normality. The cemeteries, once peaceful, quaint, places to reflect, a place for memories to retreat back to times when loved ones made us happy, have now since the scourge arrived become dark places, rank with death.

They told us it would be a revolution, simplify our lives, instead they have become a means of inflicting severe suffering, vengeance, death, it lives amongst us, waiting for its chance, no home is safe, nobody will survive.

Nope, just the sound of birds, the blue sky is clearly visible.

Just because one person wins the lottery does not mean everybody will.

    Think a bit more.

    I need a holiday. 😥
