    Re: reset one shot toc

I have reset them in the past but only if I have none with me, but you should always change them they only trip for a reason.

But saying that I reset the one on my creda dryer about 2 years ago and not since.

Think of it this way nice easy repair and a very small lay out on parts = HAPPY CUSTOMER 😀

In the past I have always just changed the rear but of late have had to change quite alot of front boards as well, even when upon checking says only change rear. Best to quote for both and cover yourself.

    Re: Indesit Smart Card Reader

Yes you require a card reader and then the card for each machine. Only the problem is that we have been told you get one chance per card ??? not sure if this is right as I have not done one yet but we have been issued card readers. ❓

Re: New tool for dealing with water escapage

The mop ups are a good idea and work very well. I have been using them for about a year now great when the filter is blocked and you have to remove the hose etc put 2 down and they normally soak up most of the water then use another to clean up. The other good bit is I do not have to pay for them. 😀

    Re: Haier products

The reason the haiers are getting written off is down to poor supply of spares not due to the inability to fix them and yes they do have a high failure rate. Generally they require board and motor, so maybe cheaper to replace than repair ???

After the stuff they turn out you would have thought if indesit cannot get them to be of a quaility that is worth selling then why try ???

They are not that bad to work on. Take right hand side panel off as you look at it and from memory most parts there.

Try removing heater and get to stuck item but usually door clips not fasten correctly.

The other thing you can try is removing belt and use brute force to turn drum.

    Good Luck. 😀
