    Re: Indesit Smart Card Reader

One of the guys today had a board smart card and a blank eeprom socket, unless the previous guy ordered wrong parts- which is more than likely. I will be checking tomorrow.

Don’t forget some of the boards will not have a eeprom in it so you will require, pcb, smart card and blank eeprom. Happy days. 🙁

If pcb at rear is clicking then the relays have gone – new board.

If the compressor just clicks then new compressor I am afraid. 🙂

The sensor changes value when it gets cold. The problem is that the defrost heater will not cover enough of the evap. You fix new one but start abit lower and leave it hanging underneath the evap. which solves the problem.

Also look along the drain hole in freezer if it has gone black on the plastic then the gutter heater has blown.

New defrost heater from :71008 – indec00259475 (includes new sensor)
New defrost heater upto : 71008 – indec00259476 (includes new sensor)
    Gutter heater : indec00140585
Harness to connect the heaters togther : indec00141294

    Hope this helps.

Think this is the model hoover had problems with and were doing a recall on. The sensor is de-attaching itself from evap, if so unit is scrap really unless you wish to messing around re-foaming. 😀

Hand them a screwdriver and say “I am glad your watching as I am not sure where all the spare screws go !!” :D.

The look on there face is priceless .

Generally I find if you explain that you need to concentrate and that you will explain what you have done / changed / tested at the end most people leave you to get on with it.

check the condensor, is it clear and cleaned. Also check the front felt bearing duct to see if still attached otherwise air could be escaping from drum.

A quick way to get rid of any bubbles / over foaming in your appliance is to put a bar of soap in the water and it will neturalise the bubbles just like in the bath. 😀

Chance you are over dosing on salt as this leaves a white film especially on glasses. Try using 3in1 add salt and rinse aid as normal and turn down / up your softner setting.

The other fault can be the seal on your salt cap has perished or you have not tightened it up enough.l 😀
