    Re: WD440

Thx for the quick response jim.
I was thing along the lines of a board problem but the error code threw me a little, so ive ordered a ntc dryer side but forewarned the customer that i think 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} its board and shes understanding.
But shes happy for me to try ntc in the hope its gonna save her a few bob.

£20 for the ntc so im gonna try it first ( shame i didnt have a good second hand one to try ).

testing the existing ntc with my meter its on constand circuit and with heat applies ( cigarette lighter ) the reading remains exact 😕

Re: new belt would you pay or not

I dont guarantee belts, i also would check wether it had snapped through jamming as i couldnt acknowledge “wear and tear” so soon after a new one had been fitted.
Why did the old one snap anyway????
Cannot STAND customers who “DO NOT HAVE ANY MONEY TO PAY” on first visit as MOST repairs are fixed on first visit anyhow.

By not having any money or leaving any to pay you tells the full story to be honest…..

    cheeeky bastids.

anyhow…its happened to me a good few times but i dont stand for it, the last time it happened i threw the customer and the baby in the van and took them the cash point, dropped them back at home afterwoods ofcourse. 😉

Re: I`m Assembling My Own Computer – Advice Please

been a die hard gamer and technology freak for about ten years now.
spent thousands over those years and built many power hungry machines in that time.

Trouble is…. todays technology is obsolete practically next day in the pc world.

Building for browsing?? no point at all.

a tenner pc from the local flea market will do.
