Regards,
Mike.would a credit liscence not be needed incase you rented a machine then suddenly had a none payer? is this not to safeguard you for claims against? i dunno, new to me this also but what do you get them to sign as in terms etc not just the breakdowns that cause damage etc.

ParticipantRe: Free Estimate.
I am also amazed by it too, thing is i think those that do find its a step to get their foot in the door…then i think they tend to let the customer start haggling over prices, then they HIT the next customer who doesnt ask for free calls etc with a huge bill that they wouldnt possibly of if the customer before didnt hum n rrr at the price, I think its a scandal personally that someone who is genuine and doesnt question it gets STUNG because there is tight asses out there!

ParticipantRe: Washing machine rentals.
I am thinking of going down the rental market, any chance of starting a thread in general topics with regard to this and how you work it?
It’s something im thinking about due to the current state of the market and the public going down the catalogue routes etc.LJDomestics
ParticipantRe: How the ****did that get in there
Had a woman bring a iron in to the shop in a carrier bag for repair once… when i opened the bag after she left there was a sanitary towel ( USED ) inside another bag within the bag, Didn’t tell her upon return to collect for fear of seeing her total embarresment.
However i felt sick to the core…luckily it was within another bag otherwise i wouldnt of touched the iron.LJDomestics

ParticipantRe: Sanyo EM-SL30N Combi Microwave Intermittent Heating
Hi again sonic.
If you do go down the route of calling your local repair centre.. it mite be nice to mention your calling them as a direct result of sensible information you were given from the forums that is ukwhitegoods, afterall good publicity for any forum/website is a good measure?
( Hope i dont get my knuckles wrapped for this idea? )
We mite then get new engineers signing up the the forums?
I always think its nice to be mentioned and gain extra publicity for giving sensible advice? But good luck with it and i hope you get it repaired without any problems.
