quite a decent ad actually….How many threads are we running over this load of junk anyway? :rolls:
You sure you don’t mean ‘this revolutionary new washing experience’, Martin?

The Hotpoint version of that ad has been shown lots on British TV, quite a decent ad actually….

Well, that as well as the fact it looks ‘fancy’….
Wouldn’t touch one with a barge pole, personally…
Miele/Bosch all the way, although, externally, i fail to see much of a build quality difference between Bosch/Siemens and LG (they do seem well made?).
Why are Samsung so shockingly poor these days? I’ve sold 4 and 3 came back DOA!

I reckon that could be a photoshop, what do you reckon?

All this opens an interesting thread actually for me and some interesting questions that should be in the retail forum, like do you actually know what you’re selling?Dave, can I borrow your tartan blanket? 😆
K.
No pull out programme guide on this one, also, no jetsystem.
Unsure what you’re trying to imply by the quote above though.

Purple?!
…and i thought Almond was bad enough!
(We’ve still got an Almond WM25, think it’s about 10 years old, horrible colour…)

My Grandad has a 20 odd year old Zanussi still going strong, it’s white with grey fascia, push in panel on the soap drawer, manual timer which you pull out to turn on, and two massive red lights on the front.
Only fault it’s ever had is that the hot valve leaks slightly, but he always turns the water supply off.
Unsure what model that is, but it’s older than me!

I take it they’ve seen a few then?
I’ve no doubt it’s much older than I am.
(It wouldn’t surprise me if i’m one of the youngest members on here, actually.)

ParticipantRe: Ariston Margherita A1635 – Paddle/Lifter removal
if you place your hands inside the drum at 12’o’clock position, and push up towards the top of the machine, can you feel any movement?
has the machine got louder recently? especially on spin?
If so, you’re looking at the bearings being shot.

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint CTD40 condenser drier.
The 5yr parts applies to all Hotpoint stuff, there’s never a mention in the manual, but, a sticker, usually on the front or top of the machine.
