ParticipantRe: Comet don’t you just love them?
Yeah
I know exactly what you mean, and i can only vouch for my particular store, but Comet really have gone out of their way to help the customers out, this past 12 months, since the new vision.

Yes, definitely, and i’m sure they will have done. At the end of the day, no one knows what happened.
Anyway, stop moaning, it’ll keep you busy. 😉

Don’t brand everyone with that, i’m a customer associate (‘sales people’) at Comet.
To be honest, Comet have *really* sorted themselves out this last 12 months, everyone in store now has an hour a week dedicated to product training, are no longer on commission and actually care about their customers.

I can’t see Comet recommending an Indesit, we know of the issues widely instore, and at the end of the day, Comet wouldn’t make as much money on an Indesit as a Bosch, for example.
I think it’s more likely the customer looked at the cheapest and saw it suitable!

If Comet can’t install an appliance, they’ll take the appliance back with them, and arrange a solution for the customer.
I read it as though they’d not paid for installation, in which case Comet had no obligation to refund/exchange the appliance.

I don’t see how that’s Comet’s fault.
BTW: If Indesit is the second worst, what’s the worst?

ParticipantRe: a strange LG request.
Cheers for that Ken, it’ll live on without a badge then! 😀

ParticipantRe: Clients “Rights” and do they have any?
If this were an installation fault, then i wouldn’t have thought the warranty would have covered it?
