Hmm, looks like he’s just producing a little hydrogen from the salt water. The energy used to do this is probably much greater than he’s ending up with.. Nope, its Diesel at £1.12L for now i’m afraid. 😥

Well if the customer gives the impression they’re gonna be looking at high end Bosch or Miele, then i certainly do always mention ISE as an alternative Chris. As i dont sell machines i just tell them to have a peek at UKW and see what they think. 😉

Seems to be some difference of opinion on whats best practice to repair this common heater relay prob.

Like you Chris, i loop a little copper round relay leg & finish with plenty of good quality solder. 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} success rate so far (im gonna regret saying that, aint i ) 😯

    Re: What Tumble Drier?

And then there was a number of elements i had a couple of years ago which had earth faults despite being straight out of the bag . I always run them without earth for a few mins now. But NOTHING scrapes like the recent hotpoints without the increased drum/backplate clearance.

HELL WOULD BE MORE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :eeek:

EVERYTHING has the edge over a Hotpoint !! Nah, i think the old w/k is an honest old thing . But if you spent your days changing the circular elements i can see how that would grate..(often quite literally!) 😉
