    Re: Waste of a waste.

What’s all the fuss guys??? OK so they have changed the ends slightly, big deal…….NOT ❗

Don’t you carry various alternative drain couplings on your vans or what ❓ Statistically 30{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of all installations are not ‘conventional’ anyway 😕

Think of it as addition work and lets be thankful for that. Years ago they didn’t even fit 13amp plugs on machines and 75{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of Joe Public couldn’t even fit one of those and that was a real good ‘earner’ for us believe me.

I cursed the day they fitted moulded plug-tops on appliances as I lost out on a lot of work, now you’re moaning about hose couplings….get out there and coin-it… 😈

I appreciate your need Steve, we are in the same boat after all. Just keep your eyes open to UKW and you won’t go far wrong as we have many other ‘Work Provider’ options you may consider as a better alternative 🙂

I think you would do well to retain the Millers Hotel as the primary location for the next meeting in September. Whilst our last meeting there was a little ‘cramped’ due to the numbers attending AND we even considered using the resturant for greater comfort. The whole place is well regarded by all who attended as excellent accomodation, excellect facilities, excellent food, good cheap drink, easy to get to and above all C-H-E-A-P….!

So, I have a simple idea that will solve the overcrowding issue and still take advantage of their excellent conferencing rooms. Namely to just arrange the seating in ‘Theatre Style” and dispense with the need for all those bulky oversized tables.

A silver projection screen for presentations, a table in the middle to hold the computer/projector. A ‘delegates/presenters’ table alongside the screen, tables near the door for the refreshments, leaving more than ample room for up to 75 to 100 chairs set spaciously around…!!

No problem with Sibson IMHO…

I have deleted 2 of Alexa’s jokes today in the “A Joke” thread and PM’d him my reasoning behind my actions. Now I am as broad minded as anyone else here but I firmly believe jokes about oral and carnal sex should not be part of UKW remit.

I trust you guys go along with that ideal?

Ok then it is not a problem to sort, in most case if not all it is indeed due to the water level sensing tube that gets punctured against the drum and requires replacing (Not an expensive job, though on this model a little tricky even for us experts)

I would say that as it is NOT a DIY job but would advise contacting a local independent in your area. Just pop your postcode via this link to see if we have a company in your neck of the woods : –Repairs@

Couldn’t resist emailing them back, here is the reponse….:

Premier Electrics wrote:if you have a repair done then you will only get charged for the repair work not the diagnostic charge as well.

The repair charge consists of the price of the parts & the labour charge, we don’t charge by the hour we have a one off labour charge which including vat is £74.99
