It’s the main motor pulley (part no1250125208) Fitting that should solve the problem.

The F & P one looks very attractive. The only advice I can offer is that whatever gas hob you decide on be sure the controls are to the side and NOT at the front. Far less chance of them getting damaged or interfered with. 😉

Take a 7 and an 8. It’s either one or the other. (7 usually )

The motor’s isulation is far from ideal so that could be a possible reason. Spurious earth leaks can affect the electronics after all. You might best check the control panel too. If its crudded up due to spillages and mucky mits that too can be a reason it starts again.

    TIA

    Have you checked:

    Condenser valve water flows?
    Condenser clear of fluff?
    Blower fan operates?
    Heater ducting clear?
Good flow of hot air to drum?
….and whatever else I forgot to list 😀

    Re: WD860G Inner Bearing.

Using a Dremel with a diamond grinding wheel to cut away part of the edge of the front bearing aluminium retaining lip is an option. Every DIY enthusiast has a Dremel in his shed so it’s any easy get out tool. Simply grind away 3mm of the lip behind the bearing enough to get a sharp edged chisel behind the bearing then batter 7 bells with a lump hammer and the busted bearing will shoot across the floor, freed at last! Pat yourself on the back and pause to sup another cup of tea and munch a fairy cake. :innocent:

I think you’ll find it is a problem with the NTC (00600157). What were the resistance readings when you tested it in situ?

You must then be referring to these mats….

Are you referring to a PVA synthetic chamois cloth? Readily available EBay or Amazon…..

The bad news is that it could well be a failure of the Inverter 🙁
That’s the PCB on the base alongside the motor. (Part no: 00706019)

Re: Bosch dishwasher heat pump problems

There are no easy answers to this rubbish design. Various factors lead to them failing, foam built-up from cleaning agents or rinse aid spillage, filter blockage, circ pump blockage, not using salt and so on.

Interrogating the user once you find the element has gone might find why it failed. Other than that either take a hit if it fails prematurely or, as you say, pass it to BSH. 😕

Most likely the heater may need replacing. Test it with a meter though first 😉

Not into DIY? Then simply call out your local repair company, it shouldn’t be a costly fix. 😀
