Hanuman wrote:Hi Martin,
I just removed the left panel of the Bosch Dishwasher.
I know I have to remove the plastic cover to access the area where Reed Switch is by the water tank.
I removed the two middle screws.
Is it safe to pull out the cover now or is there any more ?Martin

Can you please explain to me step by step ?
I have removed the side panel and I see a plastic cover..Then just lift it out and pop in the new one as shown in the photos above. Easy!

It will be B1422N0GB/03 most likely and yes will need the Module (00602739) replacing.

It does have alarm fault codes based on a combination of wash, rinse and spin LED’s.

Most likely to be the reed switch yes. Best order a couple to have one on the van I reckon.

I wasn’t referring to the soap dispenser but the air chamber attached to the drum. Often they can have gunge build-up that can cause intermittent errors with water level control.

Stoves don’t wobble and are far better AND cheaper than Bosch junk.

I’d check out the fan element then as the main suspect.

ParticipantRe: Bosch wft 2800
It’s a water filling problem. So either the inlet valve is at fault or the water level air chamber is blocked with gunge.

One less competitor swallowed up, more Trade price ramping and on-line sales getting more and more aggressive.
If Maddocks drop their guard it could be them next.

Unscrew the collar that attaches the manifold to the tub then lift the manifold out, up and off the salt container.

Could you please advise how to access the heater and test it, do I remove the bottom plate. Is it a simple test for continuity?I told how to access the heater in yesterday’s post. Continuity test, earth insulation test and visual inspection are the way forward. 🙂

The water softener unit (part no: 00497684) costs £50.38 + P&P direct from Bosch.
You will need to lift off the inlet manifold first before removing the salt unit.
