ParticipantA possibility could be the motor reversing relay on the PCB. I had one in the past that was intermittent whereby sometimes the motor would just stop instead of changing direction

ParticipantIts possible it could only be one of the top centering tub springs snapped (Usually the rear one). Its easily replaced and makes quite a noise when it spins as the tub bangs on the front of the cabinet

ParticipantRe: Beko WDR7543121B Dead
I had one a couple of months ago with the same fault which turned out to be the power board (rear rhs).
I checked the psu on the board at a few weeks later and found a short circuit Schottky Diode – type SR1100 (D7 on the board).
Not tried the board out since so dont know if there’s anything else, but the usual fusible resistor was ok so I assume the Chip is ok.Martin.

I just take finger off button when impact starts and it is tight but I would imagine leaving it impacting would definitely strip threads. Don’t know yet about battery life as only had it a couple of days but it has two batteries in the kit

ParticipantRe: Which cordless screwdriver?
Ive recently had the TD022DSE impact version and find it great. Tight screws are loosened effortlessly by initial impact and then spun out rapidly when free enough.
