ParticipantRe: AEG 64800 AL3 not Heater Element!
Hi Andyman, the AL3 indicates that the water temp rise has not been sensed.
This could be due to the Safety Stat, broken wiring, NTC sensor or the Power Module being at fault.
pull the plug before checking please.Cheers

Not sure but I think the springs may be connected to cables routed to tension adjusters at cabinet top-front. ❓

ParticipantRe: Indesit wm12xuk bearing
I am fairly sure that the shaft seal is part No: C00096186

Could be a problem with the cable connection between the main pcb and the display card.

Hi Andy,
They are easy to get to, just unplug machine, remove the bulging out rear heater cover, and the stats are easily found just above the element assy.
They came as a pair and have to both be replaced.
They are available from this site, just follow this link.April 9, 2005 at 2:00 pm in reply to: Indesit WG1234T – prog sticking + now grinding on rotation #131122Martin114

If it sounds like something between tub/drum then I usually gain access by removing the heater but they can be a bit awkward to get back in again. 😡

Hi David,
The filling & emptying problem sounds like its syphoning. Make sure that the end of the outlet hose is not pushed too far down the waste pipe. The noise could be the bearings which are not too bad to replace on this model as the spider will come strait out the back, though the drum pulley can be difficult remove.
Also quite common is something like a bra wire lost between inner cylinder & outer tub make scraping noise – check this first!.
Cheers

Hi, This fault is usually caused by an open circuit thermostat mounted on top of the heater assy. meter them out to make sure.
part number 1701583 if required.

ParticipantRe: Powder drawer – Help needed!!
Hi, as far as I can remember there is no release button to press. Just open the drawer to its full extent then hold it firmly both sides and pull.

Hi, For a Sole motor I would try the CAR53 set from Qualtex catalogue.
I know the holders may look different but they should fit ok.

ParticipantRe: Zanussi DX6453 – Flashing End Light
Hi Andy, I thought these machines only flashed up 5 fault code flashes to the user. If it is 5, then it may mean the motor triac is short circuit and a new board may be required.

ParticipantRe: Creda T620CW – Tumble Dryer cutting out
Hi, the relay is mounted behind the control panal near the top centre. there are about 6 terminals on it. it is the coil that goes bad and is not repairable. as Martin said, a replacement relay is the only option.

What about the nylon straps on the ada coronation, the crap goblin twin tubs with delco brush motors each side, using boiling water to expand and release the spin can from the tapered shaft of the rolls rapide, the changing of the ocv on the burco 21, and remember the old parnall semi auto washer that used to save the hot water ready for the next load! 😯
