ParticipantIf theres water in the drum, but not coming out the filter then there will be something in the sump hose.
Put the filter back, power off and tilt the machine backwards and lean it against the worktop.
Underneath theres a black hose going from the drum to the pump, the blockage will be in there somewhere.matrixresonator
ParticipantI’ve had one leaking through the door lock too, unfortunately never got to the bottom of it as it had other issues and was scrapped.

ParticipantAs far as I remember they don’t, I’ve had a single order come in 3 boxes and only been charged carriage once.

That’s how I do it too, although a friend at Bosch tells me he does it from the front. Personally I like to see the unit is fitted into the hose correctly.

ParticipantYep, never going to work like that, no way he missed it if he changed the drum.

ParticipantYeah I’ve found with these only use genuine, and make sure its the right one, otherwise you risk this situation.

ParticipantIt’s not something I’ve yet encountered but that’s my understanding from reading what other engineers have said.

ParticipantI think on these if you unplug the motor see if the drum turns ok then, then plug it back in and if stiff again its likely the motor pcb (although ive heard of motors going faulty when the boards go)
matrixresonator
ParticipantWell, didnt see that coming

ParticipantGlad to hear you’re sorted
