Thank A1, one more thing, the evap cover I got from Connect was not a direct replacement, I had to take the connectors of the old one to make it fit, but it was the right part number, anyone got any thoughts on that ?

Thanks Dave, I have checked the tacho, and the magnet and coil are ok, there are no broken wires in the motor harness, and the connections on the PCB and the motor are ok.
    1. Is the rinse light flashing a fault code for a motor related fault.
    2. Anyone got any other susgestions?.

    Thanks Mark.

    Hi Spanner51,
The jubilee clip may have helped but i filed the shaft down until the fan went on without haveing to be forced and i thimk that is what made the difference

    Hope this helps,
    Mark.
[ And it took alot of filing]

The voltage on the oven terminal block is constant so volt drop is not on the mains power supply, Its in the oven somewhere.
    Thanks.

I doubt it but if you give me the 4 digit FD no I can double check for you while I’m at it. 🙂

Hi Martin, I went back and had a look but the FD no. has been wiped off and is not on it anywhere else. Is there any other way to tell.

Some Aquastops have 2 valves in them, if one is gone you will here a buzzing sound but it will not fill.

Thanks for the reply, sorry for not getting back sooner.

The fan is splitting all across the back, edge to edge. On the third fan I used a jubilee clip to ensure there was no movement on the shaft. The fans did take a lot of force to push on , but, I’ve never come across one of these that did’nt. I will try another one but this time I will try filing down the shaft a little bit.
Any more comments would be welcome.

    Thanks Mark
