Have the model number CTD 00. The drum though seems to have lots of power as i tried force on it to stop it.

Here in Ireland it would actually be illegal for a customer to smoke in front of me when doing a job as the area is classed as a work area.

Went to look at a WF machine the other day. Would come on( do the quick LED flash as usual) but when the start button was pressed it wouldn’t start. Turned out the “extra rinse” button was stuck in.

i recently went to a WF hotpoint with the “pressure switch not sensing” fault code and doing the exact same symptoms. It was the computer that was faulty. 😡

I find the Zanussi condensor dryers very good and reliable.

    Re: Unusual request

I did the job and charged the tenant and he asks me to write an invoice to give to the landlord to claim back. As i’m writing he asks me to put a figure down that was about twice for what i charged lol. I said no as i don’t want to get in trouble.

They all sound like they are out to do each other. Once you get drawn into this you’ll never have a straight forward job or invoice with these people ever again.
Definately one to do straight down the line, without favours or back handers for any of them. That way they can like it or lump it but at least you keep your integrity and life remains simple,You are your boss…
Or have I read this completely wrong…. 😳

Basically what seems to have happened is the guy who owns the property management company used to manage this property but not anymore. I have a feeling he may be miffed because he doesn’t, maybe they fell out or something.

He know’s the tenants are going to be claiming off the landlord for the repair that i have done to the machine. So basically he is USING me to get some money out of the landlord this way for him, he may owe him some money who knows but it’s not fair bringing me into it, i shouldn’t have to be dealing with this crap?… Even the tenants are trying to get a quick buck out of the landlord now!

Anyway, i did the job and charged as normal so it looks like i will make a loss but i do make some money out of him. But when i hand over his “cut” i’m going to tell him don’t ask me to do this again as it’s nothing to do with me any disputes or arguments that he has with landlords.

I always liked the guy and up to now thought he was ok but putting me in this situation gives me a different view of him and will dread answering the phone to him in the future as i feel it will be now stressful dealing with him.

    Re: Unusual request

Here’s the funny bit. I go to the house and they seem like nice people and had no intention ripping them off. Repaired the machine and charged as normal and get paid.

He asks for an invoice so he can give to his landlord which i said no problem. As i’m writing all i hear is him asking me to put the figure down that was twice the amount that i actually charged!

To be honest i’m very annoyed about him asking me to do this. I would have to rip the woman off and i can’t do it.

Had the same problem last year. Brushes had gone and i replaced them. A few days later a call back with same problem. Changed motor and everything was ok.

My local nursing home has a toploader one. On average i’m getting called every few weeks to it. The build quality is rubbish.

Yeah, sorry that’s what i meant when i said counter. Plug seemed tight and secure enough to me so i’m guessing the flow meter is faulty?. There is lots of water coming in so the meter must be giving wrong pulses?
