No need to take off outer case just tilt m/c back unclip pump unbolt two motor clips and remove place motor on floor no need to unplug as wires are long enough replace drive coupling then replace motor and pump job done.while you are down there you could spray some wd40 on the brake shoe as this has a tendency to bite !

one of the nice things of having a wife as a nurse is that she can find all sorts of things that bend and can clear pressure chambers !!!!!

Would the pressure switch cause the cancel and the on/off buttons to stop working then.also I suppose I should have mentioned
that the lower module has been changed but it was doing the same with the previous module.Re: hotpoint wf326
thanks for that . but I allready new that the second light down ment f04 and have discounted the pressure switch.and there is no blockage.

original fault was m/c would sometimes go through but most of the time would stop .bleep .and go back to start.It does heat.and module no c00143214.

first thing I thought of was motor so fitted new carbons and tested for earth fault also heater giving agood reading. mikeRe: Zanussi ZWF12070W1 test mode?
I have exact same situation, any help with test mode would be greatly appreciated

don`t do the clamping band up very tight just pinch it did one about 18 months ago and its still on

hi tom top and front come off to reveal most working parts.
top has 2 clips about 9cm in from outer edge this will alow you to hinge the top back .then there is two 8mm bolts to take off the front.But it sounds like you have a gearbox leakand you need special tool to take that apart ,not for the faint harted!A good site to go on is http://www.partadvantage.com hope this helps mike.
