ParticipantRe: Zanussi TC7114W condenser dryer – noisy drum
First thought was a rear bearing though looked for a part thru qualtex and they don’t seem to list any rear bearings for this model so assumed fault maybe elsewhere ,but if anyone knows part numbers that would be great help so we can go armed with plenty of spares etc, thanks

Try http://www.haierspares.co.uk for the part numbers you need ,you will probably need to buy the oil seal from them but the front and rear bearings are available a lot cheaper elsewhere from suppliers like http://www.simplybearings.co.uk

Thanks for info , suspected may be sealed drum does anyone know what Whirlpool charge for the callout as customer should be able to claim free parts under warranty and just pay the labour .Other option is landfill of course.

Good price for the machine and it will give good service if your on your own and use it sparingly once a week to wash you pants ,but if you have a family of 4kids and two adults and want to use it everyday then the repair man may be a regular visitor .Also sealed drum on some new beko’s so if (when) the bearings go it’s for the landfill .

Yes same bearings 6205zz and 6206zz as used in the fast spin beko washers (buy it as a beko bearing set and get the seal as well ) proper job !!

ParticipantRe: Whirlpool awg5122 bearings
Yes that’s the avenue we thought about going with this machine, customer already had someone out to it before us and condemned it as b.e.r. without taking top off machine , though it does look repairable – split tub etc. and we need the work (and money) even if some engineers don’t

Is there any Hotpoint specialists out there who can advise on the above problem , also when in spin mode it goes to drain out ok and spins ok but when programme finishes light 1,3.4 flash and door lock light flashes .
