The flashing option lights indicate an error condition.
The basic error is encoded in binary using the vertical lights which will be either on or off. (least significant digit at the bottom)

    Hi Dave
Punp fault is for the early EVO electronic modules. Arcadia electronics has been used for quite a number of years now. These modules use a different set of codes to the early EVO versions.

F4 Is no rise in temperature detected by rear NTC. (Usually a duff heater or thermostat/cut-out kit)

If this is for socket J2 (dryer heater) then the blue wire goes next to J1 (power connector)

Can’t help with the E20 error but the wash element is a Smeg Part no 806890696, bit cheaper than Bosch but would still hurt to guess.

Close the machine door. To enter service mode, machine is switched off by “on/off” button. “While “temperature setting” button and “end time” button are pressed on together, machine is switched on with the “ON / OFF” button.

Rarely see an F12 communication error. If this is the case the old board may be unreadable.
If no previously saved config file was available then I would use a smartcard to program the new board.

skyprog can also read/write some versions of FW1(full memory) on boards fitted with a freescale processor
but this needs a soldered USBDM connection and is only really of use when fitting a new CPU to the board

I use skyprog (with the USB FT232RL interface) for arcadia boards. Have had mixed success writing the older EVO2 boards but an eeprom programmer has always been 1st choice for sorting them.

I dump the config file from the old board and use it to program the new/used one (instant results). This method also shows the error history for most flash versions of board

    Hi Jem

There are several connection options with skyprog. The USB interface is the best option as it is cheap to build and works with more boards than the
BDM or serial interface. The best bit is that you don’t need software as you can dump the old card and load it onto the new(or used) one.
