ParticipantRe: beko wme8227w main module
Thanks for that Whiskey, is there a trade website or contact for Beko, because the link on the main site only lists a kick plate and heater ๐
Cheers

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint VTD20G door repair – Help!
Thanks for that chaps,
I don’t have an account with masterpart ๐ but I do have one with Qualtex so I think I’ll go with the white inner trim on this one, the customers door handle is still intact so it should look ok.
Cheers again.

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint VTD20G door repair – Help!
Hi Jim,
The handle you mention is the one I have.
But the door trim comes up as obsolete and the following message:-
Indesit have updated the design of the door and there is now an old and new version. This part number is now for the old design and the new design is available under part number below: HPT1702821 – new style door inner trim graphite
I have this new door trim, but as I say there is nowhere to attatch the door handle.:bang:

You’ll have to tell us how you got that ‘link’ up in the first place, suspect you must be doing something wrong? Who’s SID anyway? ๐
Wasn’t Sid the guy that everyone had to tell about British Gas ๐
As far as my link I just copied and pasted the contents of the address bar, right or wrong I am not sure, but it is the way I have always done it, but I stand to be corrected as I am no puta expert :con:

ParticipantRe: Zanussi ZWF14070W1 ntc
I am not absolutely sure to be honest Mike, out of all the parts on the machine that I could test the ntc was the only one with a slightly dodgy reading (that said my probes are not great on those tiny contacts).
If I could have bought the ntc seperate I would have been able to plug it in and either sort the fault or point the blame at the board.nelson

Hello, can anyone help with this one, the machine runs through the whole wash. The wash time indicator counts down to 7mins remaining then skips to 1 min remaining without picking up into high speed spin.
I was originally called out because the machine did not spin and still had water in the drum when I tried to drain the machine the pump was not working, so replaced the pump.
However the next wash the machine again did not spin but this time it had drained completely but did as above.
I assumed the module may be faulty so sent it to QER to test but they say no fault found (that said when I spoke to them before hand they had not tested/repaired this particular module before). So I am still not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure if the board is faulty or not and a new one from Bosch is 106 quid (a bit of an expensive guess!!)
Please help.

Have had two in the past, one was module, other was motorGreg

I remember a similiar fault on it’s Siemens sister washing machine. The motor was faulty even though it washed ok etc. If the brushes are ok it’s the motor.nelson

Thanks Gegsy & Micky,
I checked the brushes the first time I called out and they were ok. I think I’ll see if I have a motor in the work shop that I can plug in and try before I order a new module.
Thanks again.Martin

Another thing you could try Nelson is to strip the motor, give the whole unit a darn good flush out with WD40 to clear away all the carbon dust (as Greg mentioned ). Clean up the commutator with a bedding stick and try it again? If that fails and you reckon the Module checks out OK? Then the motor is a duff’unHTH?

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WMF760 H20
Thanks for that Martin, I did search H20 but nothing really relates to the problem my customer is having. I am aware that H20 is a no fill fault but the thing that I found a bit puzzling was that after it flashed H20 when left for about ten minutes would then begin the wash and operate as normal.
