    Re: What would you do?

As a footnote i would have found this fault on the first visit as we carry martindale socket testers which would have been used when we installed the machine, maybe you should invest in one and you also would have found this fault on the first visit, i dread to think what would have happened if the old boy had been electrocuted and you were the last to touch it

Yes if allsorts had installed it thats a valid point, But it was just a delivery with no install. So i think allsorts can be forgiven for not finding the problem on the first visit as i’m sure he would have also found the blocked sink fitting if it had been an install. I wouldn’t have checked the house electrics on a plain delivery case nor do currys/comet delivery guys either and they dont carry martindales.

But yes contact the housing association to cover yourself if the old guy has further problems

But yes i would contact the housing association and let them know so they check the rest

There is a big brown relay behind the facia panel which fails and can cause this problem.

Yes they are a pain! Wont touch them if out of guarantee as people wont pay £45 labour for the three days it takes to take apart and put back together!. You have to change pump, emi filter assy (all of it), and pcb. Same if the rollor motor goes. Do you have the model number just to be sure?

    Hi

Your right you do take the inner panel off to fit the seal but it always comes off after a couple of weeks, best to order inner door and it comes with the seal already fitted.

    Re: DrDill’s Latest Bashing Thread

I’ve been reading this thread and all i can say is DrDill please just give one long reply to the many questions posted or just drop the bone, Then i can see your point for myself. Your initial question i think has been more than answered so what are you after now? Or are you just intent on just having the last word?

    Regards

Yes, I carry a little nail brush for cleaning the backs of those boards. Have had a few WMA’s lately with drum action problems caused by carbon build up too.
