Whirlpool direct 0208 649 5450. They will give you part number so check connect may have it even though these models don’t often show on there system.

Remove the evap. cover and check the defrost heater. If it’s gone change it and also fit pt.no DA8101997A Defrost sensor mod and you get some info in the pack to alter the defrost time.

If defrost heater ok then just fit the mod kit.

A hair dryer! I find atlot of new seals are squashed so flat that when you fit them they dont seal first time so i sit with a hair dryer and warm it up until it stays in place then advise the customer not to open the door for a couple of hours so the seal “remembers” it’s shape.

Check if the solenoid on the dispenser is working as it could just be a worn lid/slider and this can be bought separatly and price not too bad.

If the dispenser itself is at fault these are a bit more expensive and i would just continue to use it as you are just putting the tablet in the bottom! (remember not to use the progs with a prewash though eh!)

    Hi Jim

I’m affraid as you suspect it will almost certainly be the pcb which is at fault if you have a good supply to it. 🙁

Hot and wet suggests it’s not condensing so if the valve hasn’t gone again then check the condenser chamber is clear or the fan is not clogged or both.

Sounds like the compressor is dead. Time for a new fridge as the cost to replace compressor and re-gas would be as much if not more.

Re: Domgen Work Goes To Connect

The only make on the list that we’ll miss is Servis and i won’t miss it. I think there are only four left in the u.k. anyway! (And two of them don’t work)

But as service levels drop the work will filter back anyways as D&G are super hot on that kind of thing.

Re: Samsung SR-S2028CSS Ice flap repair

It’s the lug that holds the freezer flap (round disc)in place at one side that has broken. Would the repair kit for the lever adapt to repair the ice flap lug instead?

    Hi

Thanks but it’s too fuzzy to read even saving on p.c.

Could you email it to nigel@gtelectrical.com please?

    Thanks in advance!
