Probably the motor position sensor failed, although can be motor control board.

Left to right was correct BTW 😀 .

With regard to the safety issue, we aren’t overly bothered if you get a shock or not if you are determined to fix it yourself. However, a reader of this thread in a few months time may not have your expert knowledge, so it is his safety that the moderators are concerned about.

    Power off………

Ah.. Right – multi meter for continuity testing – power off – it’s the switch on the top end of the hanging rod in the drum.

Seriously, if you dont know how to do this safely, do get some pro help. I understand that the switch comes as a kit and is fairly cheap. P/no. is 425373.

Re: Firenzi (built in) gas hob ignition switch

We appear not be communicating very well here 😀 . Whilst you have bought one cooking package, it comprises 2 quite distinct appliances, each of which will have its own code numbers.

You are going to have to get down underneath the hob with a torch and get the numbers.

An email with part number to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for confirmed prices and ordering.

4+5 not a recognised code. To attempt reset:

Switch off. Switch on and press start button 4 times within 3 seconds. Switch off, switch on, run prewash programme.

    Good luck,
    Chris.
