If you can hear the drain pump whirring away, check the outlet coupling at the sink. If you cannot hear the pump whirring away, remove the access panel in the sump (under the filters) as per your user instructions and see what you can fish out.

The inlet valve is integral with the fill hose and can only be replaced as an assembly.
    4812 530 28848 is the 2 metre version at about £34,

    Re: LG WhiteGoods

LG do make decent machines. The washers have vibration issues on wooden or “suspended” floors and it is worth considering that should you have a failure and the part is not stocked in the UK you’re going to wait a long time for a repair.

Looking at the appliances you have selected the budget will allow you to look at the Bosch appliances – you will find a general concencus among trade members that they represent good value for money and few major servicing issues.

Of course, if the house searches drag on for a while before you move it will be worth checking the site’s front page for some interesting news on the laundry front over the next few weeks.

It’s a specialist appliance; due to the UKWhitegoods meeting this weekend you will be unlikely to get a definitive reply until Monday.

    Please bear with us.

If you really can’t wash it clean all you can really do is strip it and start scrubbing. How to convince the customer to pay for 2-3 hours labour is the problem……….

Read the paragraphs “Notes on Supply Voltage Level”. I wonder if this why we have high failure levels of cheap electronics? Not designed to cope with the extra load in the UK.

    Just a thought,
    Chris.

    Re: help please someone

No. The reason that salt is added through a seperate, sealed cap is that the saline solution never enters the wash water; it is used solely to reionise the water softener system.

Advertising salt as part of the 3 in 1 tab is pointless, misleading and does not do what is intended as is will never enter the watersoftener system.

My personal opinion, based on a good few years experience is to get rid of the tabs and go back to using powder, rinse aid and salt as seperates. By doing so you can “tune” the performance of your appliance by adjusting dosage of powder and rinse aid, as well as the degree of salt usage. Cehck your user manual for exact details.

    Hi Jim,
That’s the Spanish washer dryer, that is. I keep getting these with the blower ducting breaking up – makes horrible noises.

    You won’t like it……….. 😀

    Re: lg wd 1041wfh

Sounds like the computer is a bit potty. Why did the fuse blow in the first place? You may have a “cause and effect” fault – the first fault creating the second.

The LG is a complex machine, I would suggest that you check Directories or Repairs@ for a UKW repairer in your area.

Power off if you do go poking about inside.

I was told that it’s because of the new “thinwall” sleeving – the wires are apparently the same cross section.
