Remove the two little plugs at the bottom of the rear casing just behind the split line and see what you find 😀 .

    Good luck, power off.

Re: Creda Concept Solarplus Cooker Control Knob Access

http://www.theservicecentre.co.uk/Service/inst.html will take you to the user manual.

Almost all hobs require removal of an access cover or even the entire lower cover to reach controls. Power off of course; if you’re not sure what you’re doing check Directories or Repairs@ for a UKW repairer in your area.

Door seal is integral with the door, so would have to be replaced as an assembly. Diesel engine noises will be the compressor on it’s way out. All adding up to too expensive I’m afraid.

You have a 5 year parts warranty on the machine, although you have to pay the call out (£89.95). If the burnt out component is the computer board, it would be worth calling them out, otherwise a local repairer may be the cheaper option.

Check Directories or Repairs@ for a UKW repairer in your area. Power off if you continue to investigate.

It’s there to stop the half pint of cold dirty water that is always left in the bottom of the machine mixing with the clean warm wash water. In theory at least. Blomberg spares are available from Comet (it’s their brand name) but, being kind it’s a torturous process.

Regret that does not appear to be a valid model number. Recheck around the door cavity. Even better would be the 12 digit code if available.

    Should be this one:

With the power off, remove the rear inner panel and it’s all pretty obvious from there.

I got caught with one of these earlier this year, turned out to be the power board (the one on the side of the machine). Sticking relays I presume. Anyway, it’s p/no 267397 – £122 list 🙁 .

Re: Siemens SIWAMAT 5030 plastic lifters

Hi, will you please give us the full model designation on the inner door panel.

There are two outer drum constructs – a stainless steel one with cast iron bearing cross piece and a polypropelene one. In either case, the inner drum has to be removed. On the stainless drum, this is easy as the front and rear panels can be removed, allowing easy access to the drum pulley and tub front. The plastic tub has to be removed and split out of the casing and is a complete s@d of a job. When the inner drum is removed, it is a matter of undoing the relevant bolt on the drum support and fitting the new paddle.

    Easy really 😯 .

There are various stats, Repeter. You will have several “contol” stats for the various wash temperatures. There is one safety stat, which will shut off the heater should a severe overheat occur. The dishwasher uses static heat (ie the timer is stopped). The relevant control stat will complete the circuit for the temperature selected, and the time will run on.

Some discolouration of elements will occur over time – the problem will be exacerbated by choked/partially blocked rotors, so keep them clean.

I had the same thing last year with one of these – when I tipped the machine back, the polystyrene transit block for the motor was still under the machine – a particularly bouncy load caused it to crush the sump hose and popped the ball into the drum.

    Chris.
