Pressure switch/pressure system can throw that one up, Laurence. Has an “Aquastop” fill hose as well, although if that’s tripped fully it should come up as “FA”.

    Cheers,

131 is a continuous rotor position error – this a sensor on the side of the motor.

Half way up the glass is way too high for the water level. Flood protection is operating, causing the pump to cut in. Check for correct operation of water level control switch. If you switch off and the water stops coming in, you may assume that the water valves are OK. Otherwise it’s the computer..

Power off if investigating further. :plug:

If you are not confident, please check in Directories or Repairs@ for a UKW engineer in your area.

No heat will almost ceratinly be the thermostat under the heater box cover at the back – part number is 1740235. Filter support (the collander) is p/no 1740593.

An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get things moving for you.

Power of when looking under the rear cover please. :plug:

Re: Fisher & Paykel soft touch dishwasher not stopping

Alexa will be able to advise with regard to diagnostics, I assume he’s off being a beach bum at the moment. 😀 He should be back tomorrow night. In the meantime, check whether the machine is actually heating. The heat sequence on most dishwashers starts after the “thump” when the soap flap opens – give it ten minutes, then open the door – steam should rise. If it doesn’t, problems may lie with the heater, thermostat, controls or wiring. A process of elimination I’m afraid.

Careful with the electrics if you investigate further.

Check wiring at cable junction where it joins the machine is the obvious one, failing that computer failure likely.

Re: How to access stacked t/dryers

I can deal with the tumble dryer on top no problem – re-stacking is achieved by using a carpet off-cut to slide the dryer over the washer.

The ones that really do my head in are these blasted integrated dishwashers installed 3 feet off the ground. I can’t see into the top basket for a start, which is my problem and I don’t expect any sarcy vertical comments 😀 . Then you have to get the blasted thing out for the most trifling reasons. 3′ off the ground? 2’6″ fill hose – of course. And it’s heavy……

    That’s one I’d like some comments on…..

    Re: Zanussi FJ1033 bearing removal

How large a hammer? Personally I have a 3kg copper faced hammer, and things move when belted. Any sort of domestic hammer simply won’t transfer emough force…….

If the shaft is actually jammed that tightly, you will need a stout metal bar to allow you to continue driving the shaft through the bearing. It needs to move froward about 20mm and should then slide free. It will “give” in the end…….
