He’ll be shivering anyway – hasn’t he gone to Finland for a wedding and to assassinate Yurtsen?

    Re: Cricket, lovely cricket.

Weren’t very good, were they? Mind you England had better get the opening bowling spells sorted out; the Aussies would have loved the first ten overs of either innings. Still, if you don’t let the Bengalis play, they’re never going to get the experience etc……..

Goughie claims he’s an all rounder now, with 93 at Headingley for Essex and 5 wickets so far.

You’d be surprised to learn that Alexa does’nt support Oz, despite living there, although he will no doubt be able to report the mood from down under as the ritual slaughter ensues.

Youngest boy is playing mini cricket regularly now. Green Lane under 11s and they are truly terrible, but they enjoy themselves. Have finally got him bowling overarm. Few more weeks and I’ll show him what you can do with the seam. Last week they played Poole-in-Wharfedale U11s. Green Lane scored 200 (starting score) – the 8 girls of P-in-W scored 380. They didn’t mind losing – it was just that they were girls……..

See? SEE? It just never stops does it? Here we have an interesting little diversion and now it’s Friday night, so let’s have few beers and indulge in Penguin abuse.

It was a damn good band BTW, 1 album from the first incarnation and a rather good EP from the last.

    Cheers,
    Chris.

They obviously sent a film crew down to Martin‘s workshop – check out the results here:

Absolutely brilliant – live action, sound, the lot.

Re: Indesit WIDL126 – Steam Steam Steam

It proves that the soap hose is now sealed and steam cannot vent back through it. Presumably the vibration of the spin sequence is sufficient to throw the retained water out of the soap hose. Is it very bouncy on spin?

Simple thing to do is to make sure that the machine is square to the floor – all four feet firmly down so that the machine cannot be rocked by hand. It doesn’t have to be plumb-bob vertical, just steady. A wooden floor doesn’t help, it can in fact add to vibration on spin, so concrete floors are a better bet.

These are all likely to be things that Indesit throw back to you about the state of affairs, so check them out fully.

Glad we’ve made a bit of progress,

    Regards,

We have one in the car club ( http://www.landcrab.net ) who has a adapted a fridge compressor to inflate the hydrolastic suspension on our cars, as well as to create the vacuum needed for a full refilling.

The drummer in “Resistance” (my last band) was none other than Hugh Whittaker – late of the “House Martins”.

And I still didn’t get famous, even by association.

    Cashie,
Can’t advise you as to the best places and prices – We’re all in the UK apart from Alexa, who is in Oz but is skiving off on holiday this week. He should be back next week.

From the tech info these boards seem to be “plug and play”, although it would be in your own best interests to check the major components of the machine for electrical integrity – other faults can flash back and blow the boards.

    Power off before deeper investigation.

    Regards,
    Penguin45.
