Re: Candy Washer CNV 256-80 Spin problem

Earth leakage on heater or motor can cause some strange things to go on. PCB could be borked, of course.

Low brushes/earthing issues on drive motor will do it as well.

Yup, no pulses from flow meter and it thinks it isn’t filling.

Just gas capillary thermostats on this one; probably gone out of calibration. Right or left hand control on the panel? The BSH site doesn’t specify.

Don might be able to give you some more specific advice in the morning (He’s the retail Guru). It certainly looks like a Whirlpool double oven – easiest option might well be to have a rummage on the Whirlpool site – they will have a direct equivalent which you’ll be able to get the specs for.

Re: ZanussiIZ 16 S Help please.

Awkward – I’d start by checking the heating element for resistance and earth leakage; possibly earth leakage on the motor (less likely). Failing that it’s a logic error on the main PCB, in which case you’ll need to stop and have a thinl about your options.

Stay safe, power off if you intend to sort this yourself.

Hob top was p/no 11941705038 – can’t find a current price for it, which is not a good sign. Email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk with that number will find price and availabilty for you.

If you value your customers, you won’t sell that kind of carp, will you? Leave it to the big boys to pump them out. They’ll last longer than the typical small customer based retailer, with their resources and corporate lawyers.

    Humbug.
