    Water level control issues are rife on these machines. It’s Chinese and it’s a bad copy of an elderly, poor quality Indesit appliance. You can repair it and make it work (If you want to – I wouldn’t spend money on one, myself.), but you can’t make it better.

    If you think you have to keep it, there are a few does and don’ts.

    1/ Do not use multifunction tablets in the machine. Use powder or a low-froth detergent like Fairy Bursts and separate salt and rinse aid.
    2/ Once the machine is running, under no circumstances open the door – the water level control will go haywire.
    3/ Start saving for a better appliance – it will go wrong again, probably just after Christmas Dinner.

    Pump is usually in line on the neutral, so if o/c no fill.

    Fan on front of motor most likely culprit – HERE.

    Power off if you intend to do this yourself.

    Probably the drum outlet thermostat….. HERE. Remove lower front cover plate for access – plug out first.

    Front “stat” is a thermistor NTC device. You will need to set your meter up into the kOhm range to get a reading from it this should fall as the device warms up. There is a second one in the condenser housing to tub hose down at the bottom to check as well. That one suffers from wiring issues due to vibration.
